Hi
I have an issue that when I log into my website via the WA Website Builder, it logs me on by default as admin, rather than mu user that has admin rights.

A couple of people have suggested you should delete your admin login and only keep your new user login.

Is this advice correct? Does this have an issue with logging in from the WA Website Builder?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Richard

You can change your name if you'd like on your admin by putting in your name as a nickname.

I have done that. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I just wanted to know if there was another option.

No you can not delete and another thing do not change the password that is defaulted to it. That way support can get in and retrieve if you make a mistake

Thanks. Yes _ I have followed through with support and they say don't delete.
I have added my name as the Display name for Admin.
Also - I can login direct rather than via the WA login.

NO>> keep your original admin account for sure...

This is also stipulated in the training

If for nothing else it is a good way to access your accounts if anything goes wrong with your personal one

I remember that from the training also and this is why I did not follow the advice. However, I wondered if it may change later in the training but obviously not.

Thanks for the feedback.

I still have both the admin as well as one with my user name.

Perhaps you should check with support if you are having issues with the log in they will help you out on that. Personally I would not delete the admin once gone that's it and you may have issues later as a result.

Not sure where you are logging in but if you have a user name don't click the blue log in button that is automatic for Admin.

There is the white button called details click on that then click the link next to Administration Page: which should be under Domain Name.

This is the link for your user profile once clicked it should take you in as the user you have specified.

IF this is still an issue login as Admin go to users and check that the correct authority is the as admins if it is your name you are going into.

if all else fails then send for a support ticket.

Take care

Thanks. I have tried the various steps here but still have the same issue.

The link next to Administrator is flexitimemakemoney.com/wp-admin

This is obviously taking me through as admin and I am not sure how to change this to my other login name - that also has full admin rights..

The best option then will be to send in a ticket to support
