Hi Lisa,
I am pretty sure you have a load of posts on your site, so leave it as is.
I don't see every post you put up, but I don't recall ever seeing you have a whinge about your site, with regards to "glitches" or you having to spend time on your site configuring something that is not working.
So leave the bloody thing alone😎😘
You may have arrived on here after the great AIO exodus to Yoast.
Post after Post of issues.
Set up a new site to try these other base plugins, and then same thing, don't change them.
Michael.

I have heard some compare Rank Math to Yoast Pro on steroids, but for free :D Personally I think Rank Math is the best of the 3, giving far more features for free however all the features and reports available may confuse some people. It really is personal preference but you can only have 1 of them activated at any one time or there will be a conflict.

Good luck with whatever you choose :)
Best, Shannon

Hi Lisa,

Hope you're well.

As the others have answered, you should only have one SEO plugin.

There are many benefits (and perhaps disadvantages when compared to the others) to the 3 main SEO plugins that we seem discuss here at WA (There's literally scores of SEO plugins).

However, you need to ask yourself WHY you're looking to change from one to another?

As Twack has mentioned, Rank Math (and Yoast for that matter) will provide "tips" about improving SEO in your writing, but this can stifle the writing process.

I know Jenny needs to probably give it a little longer, but she has posted a question earlier today that throws up some interesting questions and answer.

I also think Trish's (Triblu) reply to Frank in the comments is very wise (and she is certainly someone who has provided me with some great insights from her experience - in fact, I recommed that everyone reads every single one of her blogs - so much fantastic information).

Here's the link to Jenny's question: Thanks
Partha

I am looking at Rank Math so thanks for asking the question Lisa... Looks like Chrystopher has given us both a solid answer...

It's down to personal preference really. I still recommend AIO SEO for 95+% of members as it is a set and forget plugin. However, if you would like the onsite tips on how to improve your SEO, then I would definitely consider Rank Math over Yoast anyday.

I would create a new website here and install Rank Math, so that you can try it out and see how you get on. If you like it, then you can install it on to your main website(s). And yes, you can only have one activated at a time, so I would leave AIO SEO as it is, then install Rank Math, allow it to import your settings from AIO SEO, then deactivate and uninstall AIO SEO, leaving you with just Rank Math.

Hi Chrystopher, sorry to butt in. I am just wondering if Rank Math can affect the traffic to one's website.

Thank you,
Michael

Not to the extent of no traffic, no. I am pretty certain that the other question flying around should be rephrased to no traffic appearing within Google Analytics, which would mean that it is an issue with the UA tracking code.

If they/you check Google Search Console, you will see that the website is still Indexed and appearing within search results (Ranking).

Hi Chrystopher, if there is a problem with the UA tracking code how would I find out. I switched from AIO to Rank math, and just like Jenny followed the set up wizard. My traffic is not the greatest and this has left a question mark in my head. I checked the reviews on Rank Math into the wee hours of the morning and did not find any negative comments on RM.

That's because there aren't any as it's a well coded and stable plugin ;-)

As for the UA code, have you checked the Webmaster Verification settings? Is it visible?

If you log out of WordPress and view your website as a Visitor, then right-click on your homepage and choose View Source and then search for "UA-" do you see your tracking code?

Hi Chrystopher went through incognito window in Chrome, was unable to get to the viewing part, I know I am doing something wrong here. How do I visit my site as a visitor and get to the View Source and then search for "UA-"
Kind of stuck now.

You just need to make sure that you are logged out as an Admin from WordPress, or use the Incognito session. Then right-click on your homepage and select View Source from the context menu.
