If I have an autoresponder service with capture page templates do I still need to build my own? Also I was looking at the sales funnel training and among other plugins it says use Yoast. Isn't All in One SEO good enought?

Yoast and AIO SEO works similar, so you're good with that.
As for the autoresponder, I build my own landing pages, get them on my list first, then send the funnel to the list. Or you can simply say my landing pages is a part of the funnel with a free gift first.
It all depends on how your templates converting as well, I build my own so I'm able to run and test, and use the best that converts at the best %. if the templates works for you keep using it, and if its not working then you need different funnels.

Good stuff Earl, do you mind me asking what software you use to create your own landing pages and what you normally use as a giveaway to build your list?
Thanks

I have over 300 PLR products, it can be Emagazine, Learning Video Series, or eBooks., I give those, or 50,000 FREE visitors to any site of your choice.
Well we know people like FREE. so I give the free traffic since people not only need to learn, but also have a hard time driving traffic to their sites. so many go for the traffic, who don't need traffic? You see the spin to that right?
I'm on a wonderful platform since 2014 by the Name WorldProfit, I practically have everything under one roof, Traffic, lead generation, and multiplier, landing page builder, and many others including my autoresponder.
They use site Grabber, I'm able to incorporate the FREE offer (Image) on the landing page, so they actually seeing the product they will be having. and I can use a drop down or pop-up if I care to do so.
For example- I can use a WorldProfit landing page giving some free traffic, with a Wealthy Affiliate drop down, Giving them more than 1 options.
They Incorporate with other autoresponders, like aWeber, Getresponse and others as well with landing pages.
To be honest with you, I have an affiliate site with WorldProfit, that was given to me when I started, I have a little control over that site although I'm able to make a few changes, Cpanel, admin back office, I have no control over, but I can add affiliate codes, link that site with My WA site and a few more.
What I have Here at WA is a blog site that grows power over years, I build that from ground coming up. but I support that site @ Wealthy.A with all the tools and recourses from World.P. I give free stuff from there to get referrals at WA
Hell yeah this is more than you ask for, but I'm sure you get it clearly.

Good questions Neil.
Autoresponder services are now having to offer basic capture page templates to keep up with other dedicated services like Thrive Themes, Elementor and so on (I won't include services like ClickFunnels because they are different beasts all together).
So, if you're happy with limited functionality then a template from your autoresponder may well do plus I know that Aweber, for example, have fully automated integration with their campaigns and list building.
As for Yoast or AIO, it's a pays your money takes your choice sort of thing and another many others like is Rank Math.

Thanks. I want attractive capture pages but I would rather not have to go through the learning curve to build my own.

That'd be great wouldn't it Neil, if only somebody would build them for you and not want paying😂😂

Yes, it's a good idea to still build your own list because it gives you more flexibility with the things that you can promote to the list.

And All in One SEO is more than enough. You either use one or the other, not both at the same time.

Thanks but if I use Aweber or GetResponse the emails I collect would be my own lists. And I will have to use some autoresponder anyway.

You're welcome.. :) I use Aweber myself and never a problem with them. I find that it is more user friendly than GetResponse, but that's my own preference and opinion.

I have used both Aweber and GetResponse in the past. Aweber adds $10 a month to your bill once your list gets to 500. GetResponse adds $10 at the 1000 mark. Trafficwave doesn't have as meny bells and whistles but you pay the same no matter how big your list gets.

Also Trafficwave has no phone support

Yes, Aweber costs a little more, but I don't mind paying for usability. Moreover, they are adding a ton more features. They already added things like landing pages which I am currently using and mine is converting really well.

This is saving me from having to use a page builder on my own website, which alleviates some load from my website and makes it load faster.

Just some things to think about... :)
