My theme automatically creates my post title in colour. I really like it as it brightens up my pages and suits my niche well. Subsequently, I've done the other headers on my posts in this colour.

I like the extra colour on my site, but I don't see others doing it too often. Does it hurt my site with the search engines by changing the header colours to match the title or make no difference whatsoever? I don't think my site looks silly, but I want it to be for my readers and cheer them up when they visit, as well as for my comfort and style of writing. Your help and advise is appreciated.

I like your site----if you get visitors and they dont convert you may ask Kyle what he thinks? Some may like the color --some may not--- conversions are what we want ---

I'd problems getting my site ranked as google kept telling me the link THEY sent me had something wrong with it. Anyway, Ed it is ranking now after goodness knows how many weeks. I think I'm getting visitors, but I can't tell how many yet. Hopefully conversions will start soon. I'm sure I've got a couple of good keywords in use. Thanks Ed for visiting my site.

G'day Annie - you need not have any anxieties about the way your site looks! Bright, cheerful complimentary colours are viewer friendly, the information is presented in a very easy to read style, with no confusing terminology. You have put a lot of thought and effort into what comes across as a very professional and helpful site. Top Marks!

Uh...No! If you have ever looked at all of my websites I always have the headers a different color than the boring black. Adding color makes the content "Pop" and like Kyle says, people are visual by nature.

I know it doesn't hurt ranking because I'm ranking pretty good in Google with some of my pages and they are loaded with header colors. I think your site looks great. Don't worry about colors...not unless you made every other word a different color, then that would be annoying. :)

Hello again Robert. I love colour, especially with my niche. Thank you for your comment about my website. I guess my intuition re colour was correct. It is a relief to know that it won't affect any ranking by going against the default theme colour all the time, like I do. My posts weren't ranking for a while, but now I know it was not because of the colour. Relief!

Hi and thank you Nenita. I take it no effect on SEO by not using default black colour?
