I tried this the other day, here's hoping re wording my question more specifically I can get a resolution to this issue.

I have noticed that the last 4-5 links I have uploaded to my FB page from my WA website blog are not showing the initial picture in the thumbnail; rather, they are showing a portion of my site identity logo blown up and out of frame. the links work, but it looks very shabby like this. Any thoughts?

You can see what I mean here: https://www.facebook.com/makeyourwingchunwork

Notice the difference between the most recent 4-5 links and the ones prior.

Very frustrating!! Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey Robert,

These links are from your website... not your WA blogs.

It looks though you have failed to select an image as your social media image properly, and that the logo has been selected by default.

Not sure whether your theme offers you this option or if you are using a plugin to have your featured images displayed (Twitter card), so I cannot offer you exact instructions.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks! I never had an issue until recently. You can see all blog posts before the last 5 have the thumbnail pic that started each post. This oversized Site Identity logo is a recent happening; I am trying to figure out how each post when sent as a link will be posted in the old way, i.e using the first pic that started off each post.

Do you have any ideas?

As I have already explained... you will need to select your featured image in the social media (Twitter card it is sometimes called) area that makes this option possible.

Without know if you have used a plugin OR if your theme allows this setting, I have no way of offering you further assistance.

My theme offers me this option and if I do NOT set an image to be used, NO image is offered, while some plugins offer a default image if no image is selected.

Thank you for the help!

I guess I am just trying to figure out why it wasn't an issue until very recently.

In every other post, the thumbnail for the post was the pic I started each post off with. Thats how I liked it. Now it is all confusing. My theme updated recently, that may have something to do with it. I will look in my theme settings. Hopefully that does the trick.

Thanks!

Then perhaps you should contact your theme's developer by locating their WordPress web page and putting in a support ticket.
