Hello all,
Now that I am knee-deep in Level 3's training, I have added affiliate links to my posts. But I recall someone telling me to add disclaimers about my earning commissions if a visitor clicks one of my links. I am having trouble figuring out if I need to add these at all (legally, ethically, Google indexing, etc.), and if I do, where do they go? Do I need one for every single post, or can I have a single dedicated page for the disclaimer? Do I also need a separate disclaimer for all my partnerships, ie Amazon, Clickbank, indies, etc.?
Thank you,
Max

Hi Max,
The answer is yes. Some affiliate programs (and Google AdSense too) won't approve us if we don't have an affiliate disclosure page.
This training can be of help: Affiliate Disclosures, FTC Guidelines, and Amazon Rules Marion has updated this training with the current requirements from Amazon as well.
I have an Affiliate Disclosure page and a short paragraph on every page that directs people to that page should they want to read the full disclosure (we have a template for Affiliate Disclosure page in the Site Content):
"This post may contain affiliate links, which means I make a small commission off purchases, at no extra cost to you. Read my full disclosure here. Thank you for supporting the work I put on this site!" (I linked my full affiliate disclosure in the word here).
Hope this helps,
Ferra

Some places (Amazon) require you to add one and putting it on your privacy policy page is fine.
