I will be traveling and I might be without internet I will not be able to go to my website. I am just wondering what effect it will have on my site.

Nothing really significant if at all. Go travel. Don't worry about your website. Your rankings will not change in such a short period of time. I stopped for almost a month and my rankings didn't hardly drop and on some posts they went up.

One possibility would be to write a post (or even a few posts) before you leave. On the right side of the page where you create your page or post, you'd click on the "Edit" link next to the "Publish immediately" button. (see #1 below)

That opens a date/time selection which will allow you to schedule the publishing of the post for whenever you'd like during your absence. (see #2 below)

Hey Luna,

You might want to read what Matt Cutts has to say and then make your own decision: https://searchenginewatch.com/sew/news/2281151/matt-cutts-short-website-downtime-wont-hurt-your-search-rankings

He's speaking of a website being down ... but ... it is my guess that your being offline will affect your site even less.

Well it might as you will not update it with new content, it will be a good idea to prepare 2 or 3 posts now and find a way to publish them within those 10 days of no internet access.

Luna, as Hilali994 mentioned, you can schedule your posts to be published at set times. In WP in the post that you want to schedule, on the right-hand side of the screen, under the Publish menu, click on the Edit link by the "Publish immediately" text then enter in a future date.
