Help please!! So I installed the SEO plugin by Yoast and dis-activated the All in one SEO plugin. Now I'm not getting any information from my Google Analytics account. I put in the tracking code from my Google Analytics account and Bing account and still can't get it to connect.

There are really no tutorials here that explain this process and WA is pro all in one SEO.

Can anyone help me with this process?

Just grab the Code snippet for analytics and paste it into the header ,php file

Hi Todd

Webmaster tools and analytics work completely separately and the Yoast SEO plugin doesn't have a section for analytics.

You will need to either add the full analytics code into the head section of your website php files manually, install the Yoast analytics plugin or deactivate Yoast and reactive All in One again.

Don't try running the 2 plugins at the same time because they handle the code differently and will conflict with each other.

I want to work with the Yoast plugin because I have 45 pages ranking, but several that I want to get up much higher in the ranks.

So you're saying I need to take my Google Analytics code that Kyle had us ad manually and add it to the header? I did this with Bing, but not with Google.

I'll try it. I wish there was a good tutorial about this here. I'm working with this one here from WA member jemmasta....https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/setting-up-seo-base-with-wordpress-seo-by-yoast-plugin

But he doesn't cover this in his tutorial.

I'm so frustrated with this and I'm not very good with this stuff.

I'll check it out. I also wrote Kyle. So we'll see.

Follow the steps in that video and you don't need to add it to the plugin so yoast will be fine

The only thing Jonicas is that when I first set up my GA account, you could see live tracking. And I can't see that. So not sure, but thanks for your help.

I have both on my sites, SEO all in one and Yoast, works perfectly, can't you re-install SEO all in one?

Hi Loes

I would not run both plugins they will conflict with each other and affect your ranking.

Choose the one you are more comfortable with but don't run them together.

I ask in the beginning if it would be harmfull to have them both on, and the answer was No, I have the sentence on top: The plugin All-In-One-SEO has been detected. Do you want to import its settings.
No I don't want to:) I have imported the settings of SEO all in one into Yoast and I fill in both SEO 's exactly the same. I haven't seen any conflict yet

When you go to SEO - settings - you can import all settings from all in one SEO - then you get the message all settings are succesful imported - would you deactivate SEO all in one? Yes

Yes deactivate it

You don't need both and you don't need to import the settings if you already have yoast set up and running with its own settings that's really only for the first time you install Yoast and change over
