Wordpress has a plugin called widget context that will work. We have used the Widget logic plugin in the past but it is complicated.

Now our free WordPress theme allows us to hide widgets per page or post. (we use Astra) .

I just discovered that I could alter the settings in ad inserter so that the widget blocks I was using did not show on the homepage. I didn't want any widgets on my home page which is my welcome page on one of my sites. Live, explore and learn!!!

Hello Dan,

I would like to take a few seconds to share my experience with you.

I used to have the Widgets blocked in the home page. Since I have it in the home page, I could see the increase in traffic and also better navigation experience. I have my eyes on the Analytics all the time and I could right a way see the difference.

Having the Widgets on each content page creates more clicking opportunities to the affiliate links and if we have a menu and category on top of the widgets bar, it improves the navigation to the rest of your content pages.

My aim is just sharing my personal experience.

Thank you for asking this question and hope you find what suits you as answers.

Kind regards,

Meena
