Hi everyone! I am trying to add this new photo as you can see as my logo, slightly different but better spacing blah blah.

I pressed publish and one day later, it still has not updated. I tried it again in the appearance editor but no luck! How can I make the new image appear? It says I have uploaded it but it will not show for some reason...

Please clarify. Are you trying to change an image on your website or on WA? If on your website are you trying to replace the slider? or just on a particular page?

I posted much better descriptions of what I'm trying to do in other comments... it's tricky lol.

have you tried clearing your site cache? It may be your cache still showing an old version.

I'll clear the cache, delete permanently from media library, and re-save before uploading again to make sure all the boxes are checked. Thank you for the advice I'll update you if it works or not!.

In the customizer box, my new photo with the white bike is closer to the letters of my business name. But after publishing (and many days later) it still is the same logo with the bike further away from the logo.

Here is the photo again to clarify - not sure why it wont work!

If the new image has exactly the same file name as the original then WordPress may use the previous version of the image, even if it's been deleted from the Media Library.

Permanently delete the original image from your Media Library then change the name of the file on your computer before you upload it. If you originally called it "Logo.jpg" then change it to "Logo 2.jpg"

Let me know if this works.

It is likely that you have not updated your website after uploading the new image. You need to click on the Update button and then refresh your browser to see the changes.

I did refresh the page but no luck, here is a photo of my issue again. See how the white bike is closer to the letters of my business name in the new photo? The old one has the bike further away.

I clicked publish / update and it shows the new photo saved, but after refreshing it does not appear on my website as it has been changed... not sure why. Because it shows the newer image inside the upload box but does not reflect onto any of my website pages.

Oh ... you mean the small logo with the White Bike and Name ...

I thought you were referring to the Header Image ... the bridge image!

The small logo can be a real pain at times .. it is controlled by your theme. I suspect the difference you are seeing is related to resizing of the image on the webpage ... if you view in mobile, desktop views they will likely be different as they are resized and formatted to fit the available room and screen size.

Your theme may allow you to change the size .. but many do not ...

Same question - I am seeing the same pic as @allancurtis.

I wonder if it is due to the size constraints for your logo. Can you see if there
are recommended dimension and file size restrictions?

Nothing from what I can see... but I'll keep looking. I also tried deleting the old photo entirely, publishing, then uploading the better logo.

The first time I uploaded the logo it was no issue at all. but this time seems to be different for some reason.

This is a good one - it's got to have some small toggle. What Theme are you using? Maybe I can simulate it on my side.

That's great - what was it, if you don't mind my asking?

It was a bit too simple, when I figured it out I was a bit stunned... It isnt my image from gravatar, that turns out to be my wordpress image. I saw a bio to enter beside it so now I know :)

Ah .. that is your header image on your actual website, not your WA profile ... I am seeing a red cycle with the header Radical Bikes ..
