I visited several sites and they have images in their home page and it is nice to look at.

I want also my site to include image in in every post in my home page site for I have no image at all and it looks like not so interesting at all.

Is there any toturial in doing this or ask the site support to help me for this issue?

Thank you and I appreciate your kind help!

Lyn

Lyn I am sure it is in Level 2 training where Kyle covers adding images in your blog. It is easy to follow, and he also goes into image sizing, adding keywords to your images and where to get free images. Cheers Denise.

Hello Avril,

Yes, exactly I'm still in the Level 2 training, it seems I was anticipating the training and I was going, far beyond, I better follow the training step by step.

Thank you so much for stopping by and the amazing remainders. I wishing you a great time.

Warm regards,
Lyn

In WordPress go to each of your post and scroll down to the bottom and on the right hand corner you should see add a feature image, this is where you upload an image that is specific to your posts and they will show up on your home page as you wanted. Hope that helps :)

Hello to my dearest friend Saane,

Thank you so much for stopping by, I have just learned from Avril that this part covers in Kyle's training, it seems I anticipated the training and was going beyond. I'm still in Level 2, moving slowly.

I'll do try your instruction anyway. Thanks again and wishing you a great time.

Warm regards,
Lyn

Most themes have a featured image option. You'll find in Wordpress, when you're in the post you want to edit. In the right side bar you'll see an option to put in a featured image.

Good luck!

Hi,
If you go to edit your post, place the cursor where you want to place an image then use the add media button.
Also you can add a feature image, on my theme the option to do this towards the bottom of the screen in edit post.
Hope this helps

Hi, piggy backing off flowerlyn's question, Louise, if I want each blog post to have an image with some writing underneath when you look at my home page, is this what the feature image does? Hope this makes sense, thanks.

Hi,
the feature image appears at the top of your post, it helps to draw people in to read further, choose an image that really sets the tone of your post.

I think you mean the excerpts. Most themes give you the option to have excerpts on your blog roll. If you activate that, it goes automatically. You put a feature picture up and immediately have an excerpt of your blog post underneath it.

Hello Louise,

Thank you so much for stopping by, I appreciate your kind help. I think I know how to add images in the post but what I don't know is how to add images of every post in the home page of the site. It seems it is in Kyle's training. I need to follow the training step by step.

Once again Louise, I really, really appreciate your kind help and I wishing you a great time.

Warm regards,
Lyn
