Can anyone recommend training that is easy to follow and teaches how to make background images for your website who are mobile friendly?
I have just started a new website, and I am happy with the background image in the header but a mobile device I can only see a little bit of the picture.
I appreciate your suggestions on this.

There are a few WordPress plugins available for responsive backgrounds as well:

One of my websites is in Generate press. Header is 1200px x400px. It is good on every device.

You can also go to Appearance - Customize - Site Identity - on the left (bottom) 3 screens. You can check how it would look on 3 devices and you can adjust there.

You do not need to add another plugin. Less plugins are better. They can slow speed of your website.

When creating the mobile version, not all aspects can be viewed the same as on a desktop. You only have so much room to work with.

If you can view the mobile view while working on website, you can adjust the view so it runs properly..
