I'm on a roll with the questions lately lol.
I asked a friend to look at my blog to hear what she thinks. She said she would like to subscribe but didn't see the option to do so. WordPress says that there should be a follow button on my homepage somewhere but I don't see it and I don't know how to make it visible.
Does anyone know how to let people subscribe to my blog?
**Edit for clarification:
I don't mean to ask about an email subscription newsletter. I mean a button on the blog that someone can press so that they are notified when you post an article. The problem is I don't see how they can sign up on my site. This is what my friend was telling me. She didn't see a place to subscribe or sign up to be notified of new posts. There's no signup button and I don't know how to get one. I have a blog but I've never subscribed to one before. Only their newsletters. I didn't know it was possible! lol
They sign up on your site, you can give them permission whether they be subscribers or contributors.
Wishing you a terrific day.
Once you have decided on an auto responder service, the next thing is to incorporate a subscription form onto your website and integrate it with your auto responder where your list will be collected.
I use a plugin called Forminator to create my opt in form. In order to keep plugins to a minimum, I try to use ones that have more than one function .. this one creates forms, does calculations, quizzes, surveys, and even payments/donations. It integrates well with Aweber, Mailchimp and most other auto responders easily. Many members here use Contact Form 7 plugin but there are several to choose from.
There are several tutorials within the Email Marketing classroom to help you with getting started on building an email/subscriber list. Here is a direct link to the classroom: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/email-marketing
Good luck!
