I am having trouble correcting the links I placed on a page. They are not live links and don't work. I'm trying to capture 2 urls from 2 different review pages and place them as hyperlinks onto one of my pages. Step by step instructions if possible.

easy enough to do the same as any other link
you have your post/page in Edit Mode
You highlight whatever text is relevant
You click the little paper clip icon in the menu
you go to the review page and copy the link from the browser
you insert the link within the box that appeared when you clicked the paper clip icon
you click on the little cog wheel to the left of the box
you click - open in a Tab
you click SAVE
you should highlight that piece of text blue so people know its a link and you are done
preview the post/page and test the link

I think that I have narrowed down my misunderstanding to this: I am opening all 3 pages in a new tab in order to toggle back and forth and insert my links. When I try to copy from the new tab nothing happens. Should I first open the page and then open the review?

Robert, I want to thank you for your kind assistance. I finally got what I wanted. The piece I didn't understand was the fact that the main address on the far left top of the browser is what can be copied. Not what appears in a new tab. My hyperlinks are all blue and active. They take you right to the reviews, where I have my Amazon links. It was necessary to toggle back and forth from the review to Amazon affiliate links, but not for the hyperlinks.

Chrissie, Thank you so much for your kind assistance. After two days of frustration I finally have my hyperlinks in place and they are active. It was very important for me to link from a web page to my review pages. My review pages are blatant Amazon referrals for 12 products. I'm doing gemstones as a niche and there are thousands of stones on Amazon. I am trying to review 12 stones a week. Anyway, my misunderstanding was this: The url at the upper left of the page is what can be copied. Not pages that I was opening in a new tab. Once I tried this it worked out. I am giving you an idea for a training blog. Us newbies don't always know the rudimentary things about the internet. Please expand on this with one of your blogs. I am now off for a shower and a shave! Whew! Blessings.
