I have tried everything. I went back to my Word document and unlinked the word there. I've deleted the linked word and retyped it in. I cut that paragraph out of my post and pasted it back in with the unlinked word. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks

If you removed the link from the words in the link it should have deleted out. If not then I would possibly send a ticket to Site Support and ask why.

Have you tried to delete it from your text editor?

I'm going to try to just rewrite the sentences that have the links in them and see if that works.

So I just rewrote the sentence that had the links. Weird thing. I used one of the words in the same sentence but in a different location and it came through as a link. I'm scratching my head at this point. I think this is a problem I need to leave for tomorrow.

Hey Silva,
Have you tried to clear your browser cache to see if that helps. I use CC cleaner which is a free program.

Highlight the word that is linked and click on the link icon again - it will give you an option to 'unlike' (looks like a broken chain link). Also, make sure you save, and check it using an incognito session - more than likely, you've already unlinked it, but it's still stuck in your browser's cache.

Hey Nancy,

If you are not prepared to share your URL it is truly difficult to advise you, given that none of the advice offered to you yesterday worked. The only other option is to take a copy of your content, delete that post and create it with a new blank post form.

Hope this helps you.
