I want to continue editing a page which I did before. But I can't see anything in the edit area and the system won't let me input anything there. How can I resolve it?

This seems to be a problem that keeps coming up here at WA. I had it early on and tried all the fixes they didn't work. Even WA support was telling me everything was ok, but it wasn't. I was using Firefox as a browser at the time. I changed back to Explorer and haven't had a problem since.

If you check the text mode editor and everything is there, then your visual editor is on the blink. Empty your cookies and caches, make sure your plugins, Wordpress, and browser are all updated to the latest versions, then refresh the page or reboot. The visual editor should come back just fine.

This doesn't sound like normal WP behavior, it's not responding at all? It sounds like your WordPress session froze, maybe you need to log out and log back in, or make sure the internet connection didn't go out. I'd always get in the habit of copying and pasting articles as you go along by the way, you never know if the internet will fail on you. Every 2 or 300 words I'd just do a quick command all, command copy if you're on a mac. Hope this advice helps!
