Go to your Wordpress dashboard, click appearance, then go to themes, add theme. Be sure to install and activate!

Hi there, with most WordPress themes, there is a "Customize" option in the admin panel. If you click that (if the theme supports it), you may see "background". Click that and you should have some options to change.

Alternatively, you may see something like "Theme Options" in the admin panel that would do something similar.

Which theme are you using?
