I have a Register form using the BBPress plugin and I added a custom field to identify which country the user is from as well as the SI Captcha add on.

I receive registrations from around the world and when I try to send emails to registrants some come back as cannot be delivered.

So my question is how can I be sure the registration page cannot be used by spammers? Are there any settings I can activate apart from Akismet which does not seem to touch the Registration page and only Blogs.

Thanks, but I am not sure this will resolve my problem. The issue is spam registrations using the wordpress plugin and can it actually happen. I send emails to the registrants and they bounce by the mail server or domain in their email address.

Do you have this box unchecked?

No, it is checked. So, it should be unchecked to ensure no spam. Right?

It should be unchecked to avoid that people can register on your website
