Have learned through WA that Links and especially Content are key to placing front page on Google. I have paid company's to do this with little results. My website Scottybdj.com is currently hosted by Godaddy but I'd like to bring it to WA. Heard WA has just as good tools to supplement and enhance my Website. I need the phone to ring my friends ! Hey Scotty, you can definitely bring your website over to Wealthy Affiliate. Have you considered moving to WordPress to give your site an updated look/feel? You would be very happy after you got the initial work out of the way because WordPress opens a lot of doors not only for easy content publishing, but for SEO, and overall user experience.

Just a thought.

You could give it a try by starting up a Site Rubix website, then once you have it looking the way you want, you could point your Scottybdj.com website over to WA and move your Site Rubix site to that domain too.

What "Tool" are you referring to? We have WordPress Express which will install your website in 30 seconds.. Is that what you're after? Our Website installer is the best in the industry, super easy. Go over to your Website & Hosting dashboard and give it a try on a Site Rubix domain, you'll see how fast it is:

If you're referring to another tool, let me know.

I am extremely cautious. I am uneasy doing it. Doesn't Godaddy need to be notified when I take my website from them to put on WA? AM I missing how this works?

No, Godaddy doesn't need to be notified, you simply update your DNS of your domain. Before you do this, you could play around with creating a Site Rubix website here at WA using WordPress Express. Leave your site how it is at Godaddy.

Then... Once you've re-built your site using WordPress, you can do the swap over.

If you change your DNS over to WA, you can always change it BACK to Godaddy too (not that you would want to). Your old website's files will still be on your Godaddy hosting.

Think of Domains and Hosting like the Mail. Your domain is like your name, someone will always address a letter in the mail to YOU. Your DNS on your domain is your street address, and your hosting like your HOME.

When people want to send you mail, they address it to your name, and it makes it to your HOME by following your street address. Changing your DNS on your domain is just like changing your street address when you move.

I like to use this analogy because it's very simliar to how websites work.

Hopefully this helps a little?
