Hey I have a VERY annoying problem. I spent all this time creating a podcast and finalizing it for publication. I published it to LibSyn and downloaded the Powerpress plugin for my website.

When I go to enter the "direct download link" which is http://traffic.libsyn.com/fulfillmentinlife/FILE1....

into the media URL section of my website, it just says "couldn't connect to host Test: http://traffic.libsyn.com/fulfillmentinlife/FILE1.mp3"


Can someone please help me with this? It has been stressing me out as I have been so determined to finally get my podcast live on my site...yet this massive issue came up and I have spent probably an hour (maybe longer) trying to figure it out.

Hi Mathews,

I know how annoying that is to work on new things and get stuck. I have not embed any audios on my website so I am not entirely sure. I think it's a good idea to give SoundCloud a try.

Hope you find way to fix that soon!

Hi Tommy, in my experience the support team only handle issues related to hostings unfortunately.

They will also let you know if something is not compatible with Wordpress.
