I have some affiliate ads in the widgets on the side bar of my sites. These currently displaying the same ads on every page and every post. Does anyone know a way of changing the sidebars on each page or post so that I can have different ads or widgets on selected pages or posts?

That would be a nice idea but not too sure about how to go about getting it done. I think there are plug in for that though.

I’m no expert, but I don’t think you can. The side menu is site specific and not post specific. Seems to me that a change for one post would affect all your posts. You might be able to format your posts so you can put a sidebar in each one, but I don’t know how to do it.
An you just move all the ads in your post to the right side of the page?

Hello GailLowe,

There's a plugin called, "Easy Custom Side Bars". If you need help with it, let me know!

Kind Regards,
Eric

I read about a plugin that will do that. I can't tell you which plugin it is, but one does exist :)

It really depends on the site development. I have developed sites that each one has a completely different ad (through something like Google ads) or where I am deciding the ad and selecting each page differently.

OK thanks - Google adsense will change the ads yes, I have that already, but I'm thinking of the ones that I add myself. Thanks for your input. Gail
