Does anyone know how to save a backup of WordPress to an email or Google Drive? I don't know if a link is the same as a file?

I have tried emailing a backup file of WordPress to my email, but it says “the file is more than 25 mg, it will be sent as a Google Drive link?"

When I check the Google Drive link, it looks like this -

Sending back up file to my Gmail looks like this -

Is all of this standing errect?

Hi

You can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended

Once backed up you may then upload to Google Drive if you so wish or keep it local.

Hope this helps.

Once I have the file, is it the same as a link (so it's the same saved object)? Can I add this file to both Drive and Email (Remote Storage Units)?

You can use AIO WP Migration, in order to back the whole lot.

If you only use export, it will copy your content vs theme, css etc.

I use All in One WP Migration plugin. It creates a backup file that you can store in various locations. Personally, I download it to my local hard disk.
