So for the active theme on your website that you have chosen, what happens when you "Go Pro" - any major changes? what extra's are included?
Many thanks.
Farah.

If you have the Generate Press Theme and you go Pro/Premium, the upgrade actually installs as a Plugin, so you do not lose any settings at all.

Almost all other themes will provide you with another theme, that when you install it, replaces the current theme, meaning you have to apply your customisations again from Appearance -> Customise (in effect, treating it as a completely different theme).

You will not lose your content, menus or widgets, however, they may not be assigned still and you will need to go back in and assign them to the appropriate sidebar or menu location.

That's very helpful, thanks, can I ask then also when you insert images on your homepage, when you go to media to select an image - not many images comes up. More images are available only when you create posts/content.
So how do you choose an image for main home page as not many come up, you don't really have many choices??

Are you talking about the images in SiteContent when you're creating a Page/Post? Or images in your WordPress Media Library?

If in WordPress, the image selection should be the same from any Page/Post/Homepage.

If in SiteContent, then you can create a dummy page, add your images to it, publish to WordPress, then delete the Page. The images will now be in your WordPress Media Library.

Hi again, last question if that's ok but i get now how to add in images - so pleased!! can you tell me how to change the font or colour of text on my homepage in widgets area, e.g recent post and then below there will be text - in that area in particular,
I put up an image on homepage but the text looks faded now and I just want to darker/bold it - Many thanks Chrystopher!!!

That will depend on the theme you’re using, and if you want to change the whole style. If your theme allows it, from WordPress go to Appearance -> Customise and on the left-hand options you should be able to find styling for fonts etc.

It all depends on the chosen theme, best to look at the info on what the pro version does more at the creator's website.
