Hello, I got one domain name with "- " before I wathed the training, I am wondering if anybody can give me an advice? it is better to change and transfer a new domain name now,

Having a dash "-" within the domain name isn't a bad thing. If you look at Nathaniel's domain name an Ambassodor here. https://onemorecupof-coffee.com is a very successful website. He makes it to WA super affiliate conference in Vegas using this domain.

Thank you! Benjamin

It's up to you. I prefer domains names without hyphens or numbers and ends with a .com.

Thank You!

Hello, Evangeline. you cannot change a Domain name, You need to create a new one. If you create a new you will not need to transfer it. You can create a new on this platform. If I have miss understood your question just let me know and I will help you further.
Sandy

Thank you for the replying! Sandy

Are you wanting to own your site? Then you can do it now if you wish, otherwise just continue with the training...and change when you are ready.

Thank you for the help!

You are welcome :)

Hello, I still find it’s difficult to decide the website name to start, I'm wondering if you could give me some advice? the figure from jaxxy below, which one you think

I suggest using the second one since the QSR number signifying the competition is the lowest. Kyle teaches that at this phase in our development low hanging fruit is more effective than having high traffic. The quest for high traffic will come later.

I hope this helps.

Thank you I really appreciate your help.

You’re welcome!

When it comes to choosing a niche. You do not need to use Jaaxy for this in my opinion. There is money to be made in any niche according to Kyle.

You should use Jaaxy to find low competition keywords that receive a little bit of traffic each month. And you can then write content around these targeted keywords.

But first you need to decide on your niche, right?

A niche isn't as complicated as it sounds. A niche is simply a group of people, or a target audience. Let's say that you are interested in travelling around the world and you want to build a website around this niche.

You goal is to simplify this niche, or narrow it down as much as possible until it reflects a micro niche.

So if you were to build a website that focuses on the entire world and travel. That is a bit too broad in nature and could require a team of people building out this website in most cases.

If I were to build a website in the travelling niche. I personally would target a smaller market, or group of people or idea like:

#1 Writing reviews/blog content about popular resorts around the USA.

And see if those resorts have affiliate program that will pay you for marketing them on your blog posts.

Find good keywords to use and write about. Add their unique affiliate links from these resorts into these posts to try and earn commissions.

Making sure that I use Jaaxy to find a low QSR keyword that gets little traffic and type about each resort in my own conversational and helpful way.

------------------------------------------------------------------

As a general rule of thumb that I like to follow. When it comes to finding keywords to write and publish a page/post online. I follow this method.

#1 Make sure that the keyword or keywords I use makes grammatical sense. E.g.

~ Don't use

KEYWORD: Best Places Stay California
TRAFFIC 14/Month
QSR 10
SEO 99

The stats appear good but does not make sense in a sentence!

~ Could use

KEYWORD: Best place to stay in California
TRAFFIC 20/Month
QSR 15 Competing Websites
SEO 93 (Will rank easier in Search Engines like Google.)

#2 I also choose keywords with Jaaxy that have less than QSR 50 (Other competing websites). Even though Kyle says below 300 QSR

Out of the three you provided. 356, 61, 48 Great 91 - This looks the best to me!

I hope this helps. Your my first referral ever to WA. So please continue to ask for help, even if this doesn't make sense to you.

Your taking the first steps and are seeking help which is a good thing.

These might help with your question, take your time:

Thank you for the detailed response. I've learnt a lot, I really appreciate it.

@I also choose keywords with Jaaxy that have less than QSR 50 (Other competing websites). Even though Kyle says below 300 QSR.

Q: If QSR number is 79, Jaxxy number is 2720 463 79 Great 92, do you think it is possible to try?

@Make sure that the keyword or keywords I use makes grammatical sense.

Q: when you choose the website with com, net. org, do you think it's best to use short one, for example: best-smart-home-devices.com or bestsmarthomedevices.org(net), which one is good to use?

To be honest my challenges are many, but I am glad I'm here in WA, there are lots training available to learn and members are always very helpful. I will work hard to improve and never stop, I will create a few sites around my passion for health wellness and products made by natural materials. Hope I will achieve my goals! :)

Thank you again for being so patient, and helping me improve!

Best wishes

Evangeline

QSR 79 is definitely alright to rank for. Reason being. If you plan on building out your website over many years, before you know it, you will build trust and credibility within search engines and rank well.

That's provided you implement proper On page SEO techniques, offer valuable content about your topics being discussed within the article.

Remember to write in a conversational way so your readers feel like they are communicating to you directly and are likely to remain engaged with your content.

Honestly, 100 QSR and under is my maximum competition I go for just for personal reasons. It is more than possible to rank well for QSR 100 over time.

You would find that even though that keyword has 79 QSR. There will only probably be less than 10 websites that could be considered a challenge to outrank. But not always the case.

.com is the most recognisable domain name extension for both human beings and search engines. It will rank the best.

But, apparently .org & .net are the next best ones to use!

I'm very happy to see how positive you are about this platform. We are truly lucky to be only spending as little as we do for the Premium membership.

So many other services online charge substantially more and do not even come close to the convenience of WA.

Here to help whenever. Have a good one...

Many thanks for your replying and helping, this is great information to learn!!

One thing you should think about before selecting your domain names is to decide whether to use a brand-able sounding domain name, instead of a keyword rich domain name.

Many say that a brand-able domain is better because it is easier for your audience to remember the name.

Another reason is that you can always be able to target keywords within your future posts that you publish on your website.

Sometimes a keyword targeted domain name can be brand-able also. Just don't make the URL too long. I'd suggest no more than 4 words but that's just my opinion.

If you want to, let me know what type of niche market your considering to get involved in and write up a few domain name examples that your thinking about using. And I will give my best analysis on them...

Low competition, high traffic and high SEO/Article Power keyword phrases will always be the best options as long as it makes grammatical sense.

These could help influence a better decision.

Thank you so much your help, yes, that is also I am wondering how to appropriate combine the keywords and brand- able into the domain name, I'm thinking to build the webs for 1. best products designed ( or made ) by natural (organic) materials, hair loss solution and adventure travel. I will appreciate any advice.

Best Wishes
