One of the best things that you can do for your online career is to become an unbiased observer, learn to see and read things as they are without adding your slant. In doing so we can get the maximum value out of everything that we come into contact with.

We are all individuals so we all tackle the equation slightly differently, if we look we can get an understanding of the directions and viewpoints that others are coming from.

There are two-foot soldiers that will serve you very well they are; why and how.

We observe something ask yourself why. Why a platform introduces something, it may be that it needs to protect its position, or stop folks exploiting loopholes. Google is a classic at doing this, they pay their software engineers bucket loads of cash to create instances and they are good at it, no sense in complaining, it is about learning how to adapt or play by the new rules, the game becomes easier if we do that.

You see something one question you ask yourself is " How did they do that? "the online world is not all about reinventing the world the reality is, it is about modeling, not copying but creating your model your unique take on systems that work.

One of the best things you can do for colleagues and associates is to have the courage to point out when they are going off track, they may not thank you for it, if done with the correct attitude you are paying them an immense favor, that is you care about them and are not afraid to help them out even if they don’t want to know you.

One of the best things that you can do is to create a network or circle of associates, friends, and folks that you care about around you, connect with them, give your time and energy to them. What is the point of having " xxx xxx xxx" amount of followers if you don’t connect with them, better to have one or two that you can give value to and likewise get value from them in that it is a two-way street? Build your network on this principal and you will do very well.

One of the biggest favors that you can do for yourself is not to end up scamming yourself. It is so easy to do in this industry, really some days it feels like we operate in a parallel universe, it is so " crazy town" and it can be so easy to start residing in an apartment in the CBD.

One of the best things you can do is to Keep it real

Focus on that question, the one you had in your mind, the reason for coming to online marketing in the first place never let it slip from your consciousness. Focus on it every day, every second of that day, as time passes the why may change as your knowledge and skill set expands.

One of the best things that we can do is to put up our hands when we are struggling or don’t understand something, Don’t be afraid to ask for help there is so much available.

One of the best things we can do with our lives is to keep on learning. Every day is a blessing give thanks for all that we have and give thanks for the fact that you are still breathing and can effect change if you don’t like what you see, even if it is only baby steps to start with.

One thing we should do is create a plan or blueprint of what we want to achieve. Wise folks have been saying write it down for a reason and they have been saying it for a very long time. Don't set it in stone, be flexible and learn to adapt to meet the changes and challenges as they occur meet them head, deal with them and adapt, so you can move on.

One of the best things we can do is to focus on one thing whether it be a website, platform software, technique or social media until we have created an understanding that works for us.

Well, there is a number two, that is put all the number ones into practice and practice, practice.
