Online business: what you put in it is what comes out of it
I know I'm taking my time ... slowly ...
It's been 3 weeks since I became premium here at Wealthy Affiliate and I haven't done much really. I have the skeleton of my two websites set-up, and I know there's a lot of work needed to build 'em up and put some meat in them.
I have a ton of ideas and thoughts running through my head. So many things I want to do and learn. In this age of information overload, I'm afraid time is just not enough to take them all in! Between this and the personal things going on in my life, it can be frustrating to get stuck.
I realize I'm not alone in this situation. Every person may have a different scenario but it's all the same: we each have our own duties, responsibilities, and other things that take up our time. But we have a choice. And that's where time management comes along, which I must admit, not my best trait.
I know that Wealthy Affiliate is a great source of learning. I call it my online academy. And one of the beauties of being a member of this academy: I can learn at my own pace, my own time, my own days. Unlike other universities where you need to be at a certain schedule. The downside of it is, if I don't make time for it, I can't expect anything to come out of it.
This is probably the case for a lot of people trying new things. Even network marketing. I'm sure it works. We've seen people succeed from it. BUT. IT. TAKES. DEDICATION. -- and a load of time.
For some, they venture into something new, get a taste and feel for it. Maybe exert a bit of effort, and if they don't see any result, they give up. And then they'd say, yeah it doesn't work. But I think what they need is self-evaluation.
So as with many other things, online business has the same principle. Whatever you put it in (time, effort, and money) is what comes out of it. I acknowledge that, and I acknowledge the fact that I need to do better if I want to succeed.
What about you? If you're in the same page as I am, i.e., at a standstill, perhaps you need to put some more time into as well? Or if you're not on the same page as I am, i.e., you have a lot of things going on around you but still manages to make time for your online learning, maybe you can drop me some advice at the comments below? I would much appreciate that!

There are peaks and valleys in the flow of our lives. It is up to us to go with the flow and not beat ourselves up over what is or isn't happening.
thanks a lot for your comment. that's also true. I tend to beat up myself from time to time, but sometimes maybe we do need those to improve.

A great first post.
Maybe a 'to-do' list would work for you? Write (using old-fashioned pen and paper,) a list of what you want to accomplish today. Allow a realistic amount of time for each task and also allow yourself a 5/10 minute break every hour. Cross through each task when you've done them, (that gives a great sense of achievement.)
