The book Think and Grow Rich was written by Napoleon Hill in 1937. This book is a motivational self-help guide that has been read by many entrepreneurs for decades. The goal of the book is to teach people how to make money, be successful, and achieve their goals with hard work and determination.

What you think you become

It teaches readers about setting up financial goals, creating a positive mental attitude, controlling your thoughts, building connections through social networking sites like LinkedIn or Facebook, choosing friends carefully instead of just going out partying all the time with whoever you happen to meet at a bar on Friday night.

The purpose of the book is to show people how they can get rich through their thoughts, feelings, and actions.

The book Think and Grow Rich is a self-help book written by Napoleon Hill. Originally published in 1937, it has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide. The book explores the idea of "positive thinking" as a means to success, focusing on how thoughts can create feelings and emotions such as love or anger which will lead to certain actions.

How to become a better you

It was one of the first books that explored these themes at length and provided readers with specific instructions for making their dreams come true, including stating what they should think about every day before going to bed; giving them full control over their life's work, and teaching them how to re-program themselves so that they could follow through on any goal without fear or hesitation.

The goal of "Think and Grow Rich" was to teach readers how to achieve success through self-motivation.

"Think and Grow Rich" talks about 13 principles for success through self-motivation. It's an inspirational story of how to turn your thoughts into reality by following these principles. The goal of the book was to provide readers with a philosophy for achieving success based on his research of several hundred millionaires.

Using your faith as a way of life

Napoleon Hill spent his life studying successful people in history and analyzing their habits, mindsets, and thoughts to find the commonalities that led them to success. The author of the book gives advice on how to improve your life.

This is done through 13 steps that he calls "The Law of Success." These are: 1) Decide what you want, 2) Believe in yourself 3) Act as if it were impossible to fail 4) Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire 5) Develop self-discipline 6) Surround yourself with positive people 7) Eliminate negative thoughts 8 ) Remove fear from your mind 9 ) Learn from past mistakes 10 ) Make friends with successful people 11) Watch little children 12 ) Practice thru creative visualization 13). Think and grow rich in an overview of "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve".

The title of the book speaks for itself - Napoleon Hill wants readers to think about how they can grow rich by following his advice. The main point he makes throughout the book is that there are three different types of people: those who have money, those who want money but don't have it yet, and those who want money but don't even know what they would do with it if they had it. He also discusses habits such as persistence and self-control which are necessary for success in both business and personal life.

Awesome write Eugene, I do happen to have this book when I was in the Real Estate business, still haven't complete reading it yet, but I pull it off my shelf to start reading it again.

I also found " The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale" and "Limitless by Matt Lloyd". Reading your post got my attention to the wealth of valuable materials laying around on my shelf collecting dust, which I should have been reading to help my mindset richer and stronger to reaching my goals.

Thanks for sharing.

Stay bless.

Elizabeth

Yep Elizabeth, Think and Grow Rich is one that should be always within reach. Too much wisdom

Never heard of the book by Vic Johnson. Think and Grow Rich is a classic!!!! This will show MY age....I've read it a couple times. My copy is all highlighted. However, I even still have the cassette version that is pretty worn out from use. It's a must read!!!!

Busy summer. Been traveling trying to decide my next move. It's SO time to get outta here!!!

I'm thankful for Fall. I get to chill and think at Crows nest tomorrow. I haven't kayaked in ages!

Have a great rest of your week. I'll be walking by Thursday am. 😉

Debbi

Well, well, I have not heard from you in a while. By "get outa here" you don't mean moving out. You really like the road, I don't know how you can do it. Well, I'm so glad to see you again Debbi.

Yes, I mean move. I've been wanting to move for a while. I moved here in 2009 and it's the longest I've lived anywhere in my life! If I was working, I would have put in for a transfer years ago. I miss my uncle's moves. 😉

I have a PDF of the original copy. That is the book I am using for my email sign-up.

I have read it a couple of times, a long time ago, when I was searching for the magic lesson. I was not yet ready to see it. I believe that I am now.

Rudy

It is time Rudy, there is a goldmine in the book.

I read this book a long time ago and can barely remember the details.
However, I may need to hold of it.
Thank you for the post.

I read it four times but there's so much in it, that I'm looking to read it many more times. Thanks Muslimah
