Hello my friends, I have been away because of an emergency surgery on June 26th. On Friday the 25th of June I had a bad belly pain, but I did not go to the emergency room until the next day.
When Your Body Talks You Should Always Listen
I thought I was going to get some pain pills and that was it. One of the reasons I joined the military was for the excellent medical benefits. So I went to my nearest military hospital and had them give me a diagnosis of what was going on.
They took some blood work and did a CT Scan of my body and determined I had appendicitis. So within the next 30 minutes I was in the OR, to have my appendix removed. It was a fairly easy surgery but if I had not cared for my health, then I would never known how bad it would have been.
It's Not Always About Money But Having Health To Enjoy It!
Have you thought what would happen if you are stricken by a sudden misfortune and everything stops right there? Nothing can move unless you are healthy, don't neglect getting a physical every two years or so.
I had a couple of stents in my heart five years ago, because I did not wait around when I noticed my left arm did not move at all. I went immediately to the hospital to find out I had clogged arteries.
It's Never About How You Feel, But Rather How Healthy Are You
So which one would be your choice? Your Wealth or Your Health?

So glad you got to the hospital and got the diagnosis in time for a proper surgical and recovery plan. It is not easy when things come up that we didn't plan for, but medical insurance is there for us if we plan ahead. So happy you are on your way to good health, my friend.

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear that. It is one of the things I worry about since I live alone.
I hope you're recovering well. You should come to the pool for a dip. I'm sure it would help your recovery. ☺️. I usually get there when they open, read, take a dip and get home.

HOA meeting 6:30 Mon (12th) at clubhouse. I'm finally home to go. Will hit the pool tomorrow morning (Sat) before it gets crowded. Hope you're recovering well and maybe I'll get to see you at something this summer.
