Do You Take Notes When Something Works Right?

Do you take notes when something works right? I know that I don't. When it comes to working, it's easy to forget what worked and what didn't. Instead of wasting time trying to figure out why a campaign was successful or not, we should be taking notes as soon as things go wrong or right so we can learn from them!

Did you know that every time someone does something right, you should take notes to improve your processes? It's true! One of the best ways to find out what is working and what isn't on your website is by taking notes.

I know that I am not the only one who does this, but do you take notes when something goes well? It doesn't have to be a major success; it can be as simple as "I made a great cup of coffee today." The act of taking notes reinforces what we are doing and helps us remember what we did. And in order for an idea to work, it needs to be remembered!

If you're anything like me, then you might be guilty of not taking notes when something works right. But do you know why that is? It's because we don't think it will work again! We're really good at remembering what doesn't work, but not so much about the things that do. That needs to change if we want to keep improving our business and make more money.

No matter how big or small your business is, you have to take notes when something goes right. There are so many opportunities for growth in every organization that it can be difficult to keep track of them all. If you don't know what's working and what isn't, then how do you know where to invest your time?

One of the most important aspects of any business is that it needs to be able to repeat success. In order to do this, you need a process that works for you. There are many steps that go into building a successful business, but one thing every leader should take time out for is taking notes when something goes right.

If you keep a record of the good things that happen in your business, it makes it easier to know where to focus your efforts on improving the conversion rates and increasing sales volume. We all know that taking notes on what doesn't work with your website can be difficult - but don't you want to remember the things that do? It's a lot easier to fix an issue if you have written proof of it happening in the first place.

It's important to keep track of how well your marketing campaigns are doing so that you can replicate them in the future. When things go wrong, it often feels like there's nothing we can do but accept that as our fate. But if you're reading this post, then I know you don't want your business to be one of those who always react after the fact!

I take notes almost every time, have my notepad handy.
And with you on this, taking note is vital to a business's success.
Thank you for the valuable insight.

I agree with this way, Eugene!

I use a feedback process every day for journaling, that I’ve used as a coach for over 40 years.
I ask myself 4 questions:

What worked? Is first then
What didn’t?
What would I do differently?
Are there any other takeaways from today?

Actually, I also write down everything that I might want to remember since our conscious minds find it very difficult to hold more than 5 things at any one time. That keeps my brain free to focus on whatever is (in my opinion) the most important thing of the moment.

Good thought process Richard. We need to be able to remember what works so we can do more of it.

It's important to write notes and I am a note-taker. But it never occurs to me to take notes when things are working. It's only when things are not working that I tend to take notes. When things are working, I am so elated that I forget to take notes!
Thanks for bringing it to my notice. I hope to reverse this trend.

Dada, the object is to repeat the good things that are working. That's the way to move forward.

Great advice and information Eugene. Thanks for sharing your supportive encouragement. I do keep records of what does and doesn't work and what I learn from others too.
Have a great week.

Tracy, nice picture there and thanks for coming. Always appreciate your comments.

Hey
I take notes whenever I get some inspiration and that can be anywhere, I write them down raw as they are.
Your blog post makes great sense to me.
I am yet to run campaigns but I know that's down the line.
Thank you.
