I've been here for 5 weeks now. Learned a BUNCH. Even tho I have been on / off internet since 1996, there's a lot of information & experience here. I have to move my sites over here, so I haven't really used the hosting. But I can tell you from my research that the costs of hosting is much lower here for the type of hosting that you get. So the hosting alone is worth it. I am looking forward to moving my main site here and then getting some help on speeding up that site.

Hey Etzel! That is a really good question. I have to admit that I do this. I don't do this here but I do it in reality to test whether a person is telling me the truth. Especially if I'm thinking about buying something.

I guess different people might have different reasons but it's mostly an honesty indicator for me. Like when parents ask their children if they did something and know full well they did it but they want to see if they are going to tell the truth.

The more active you are in publishing through content, responding to comments, and engaging customers, the more Google will trust your website. This is an internal metric meant to help guide members at WA towards building high ranking and extremely helpful websites.
