First Amazon Affiliate Commission & My Best Content Article

Hello my dear friends,

I’ve been a super-busy bee the last two and a half weeks. I’m getting used to writing content for my niche site. When you make something a regular habit, you become more comfortable after so much practice over time. But another thing I’ve learned is it takes effort to write superb content. Even with little things such as images, ad placements, and affiliate links can make or break an excellent content post. But as I get more practice down the road, it will be much easier and quicker to write content. The more practice you do, the better and more natural it becomes at a certain point.

My First Amazon Associates Commission ($)

I was happy to make my first amazon associates commission last week. Since it was a very small earning, I wasn’t jumping up in the air, but it’s a good start. As most of you probably know, Amazon has small commissions for their affiliate program. Amazon's affiliate program is not a big money maker but can be a decent source of income. If you understand how to get more customers to buy and able to sell a lot of their products, it certainly is quite possible. I write a lot of Amazon book reviews, so as my site gets more traffic down the road, there is potential for conversions through the Amazon associates program.

My Best Content Article So Far

I’m delighted with the recent content post I published (on my niche site) earlier this week. I had a unique keyword that I was laser-focused on as I wrote my article, and included relevant images as well. This post was a first where I included internal and external links, a YouTube embedded video, and a call to action at the end of the article. The CTA was to check out the office products I wrote earlier in the report. They were great products, and I made sure to overwhelm readers by adding jumbo pictures and ads all over the post.

I know better not to make my content pages look scummy. I believe Jay’s (@magistudios) latest weekly webinar (December 13) was extremely beneficial in writing my last content post. I learned a lot about web traffic and SEO that I have a better understanding of how SEO works.

Kudos to Jay! I love attending the weekly webinars. I guess SEO research and tips aren't super scary to me after all- now, it's so much fun to learn and apply!

Wrap-Up

I’ve put some effort and time aside to make Wealthy Affiliate a priority on my to-do list. I continue to provide feedback and leave comments for others and love reading the latest posts from our community. Also, I appreciate the comments I’ve received on my most recent content posts. I’m glad to get engagement with some of you, and the positive feedback on my content. My niche is looking better as each month goes by. That’s what keeps me going and remaining motivated. We’re such a fantastic community!

Happy Holidays!

Until next week!

-Eric

I love the site and the information in your recent article is spot on!

Congrats for getting into Amazon's pocketbook. They make it tough on the little guys and I always like to see someone win when dealing with them.

Hello, Eric.

May you have continued success here.
All the best and A Merry Christmas.
Darren :)

Congrats
Tim
