My Skepticism Has Waned
I was initially skeptical about signing up for Premium, because of the monetary cost and not really being able to see what you are getting. There was only the "promise".
I decided to take advantage of the $19 first month cost and try to go through as much training as possible. This way I would know if it is truly worth continuing my hard earned money.
Progress
I've been a member now for 5 days and have completed courses 1 and 2. Blogging and some of the strategies aren't new to me, so I didn't have to learn each step. However, I did find the missing information and how to make minor tweaks from what I normally do. Like creating a new user and using that user to write content. Tags are relatively useless. All things that weren't covered in other trainings that I have purchased.
Having owned multiple websites and paying for hosting plus other resources, I can say that I am familiar with how much it costs. I was impressed with how everything is self contained within this platform. It makes security a non issue and there is no need to remember difficult passwords. I can truly say that WA Premium is worth the price. It actually saves you money and time by having everything in one location.
My Niche
I have a million hobbies, but decided to roll with hiking and backpacking, since it is something that I am passionate about and am avidly pursuing and growing. Gear selection and functionality while not wasting money has been my primary concern. I also plan to travel quite a bit to explore new places and recommend where is worth a visit.
3 Month Goals
I hope to have all of the course training completed within 3 months and possibly sooner. I'd like to get things launched as soon as possible. I've been blogging for 2 years now and without a single dime to show for it, because I wasn't focusing on the right aspects. Now that I know where to focus, I should be able to make these adjustments for my current blog while building a new one.
6 Month Goal
I expect to have generated at least 1 sale by this point. I will put in as much work as possible to make this happen. Things increase exponentially once you get there, so the time commitment is worth it. Everything takes time to build it in the beginning.

I'm a little disappointed that the course training didn't cover criteria for featured images on posts or how to tweak things on your website yet. I hope these trainings are coming. Although I've already looked ahead and course 3 starts in on how to generate money. I personally feel like there are things that should have come beforehand so that your site is more visually pleasing. I would think incoming traffic wouldn't be impressed if they saw you had no featured image for your posts.

Yes, Carmela, I too was an online marketer with two websites at HostGator in 2014 when I joined WA. I wanted to take advantage of the "7 - day window" to get as much retraining as I could before having to make the decision to stay or not.
Due to life, I was so busy with other things that I didn't make good progress with the 7 - day window, so I joined the $19 dollar special. After the first month, I had added lots of little tweaks that were very helpful to my other two sites.
I decided that I would stay just for a little while longer to get as much training (what I considered tricks or techniques) to add to my experience. Well, this is now 2017 and I am still here.
I have since moved everything to WA for convenience and efficiency, not to mention the savings. I joined when the price was $47 a month. Now it is a whopping $49 a month. I suggest you continue to stay here paying monthly until Thanksgiving when the Black Friday Sale is available. You can then go the annual plan for only $299 a year! Between now and next Thanksgiving you can easily save that much to cover the cost.

You really know what you want due to your previous experience, thank you for sharing your first days here. For website development, you can take advantage of the member training. There is a lot to find here when you type a keyword into the search bar above. Success:)
The keyword implementation was really helpful. I just have to figure out how to weave that into my other blog. It's about my life, so there really aren't any products to promote.
When you write a blog about a pink dress (I see you wear that on your profile picture), you can search for a great related low hanging fruit keyword phrase. E.g. womens pink dress shoes

well that would work for a random post about me discovering my color palette. I haven't looked back over my other blog site yet and thought about key words. That blog is more about my life and crazy things that happen to me. So it's entertainment and not really niche specific. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

Your blog is quite impressive to me. Yes, it is obvious that you do have prior experiences and knowledge on these subjects.
I too was a bit skeptical about going premium and the first month was certainly worth "trying it out" and learning what I am able to before I decide to renew. At this point, I am inclined to renew. Like you, I intend to keep learning.

Yeah premium is definitely worth it. I need to move my other website over before it renews for the year on Monday. Hoping that is a seamless process. Having email, login info, and comment notifications within WA is ridiculously helpful for keeping things straight.
