I've found that they sometimes investigate and fix the problem before responding to the original message. You may want to check your site because it could already be fixed and they have just not responded yet.

please note, that you can only host WordPress sites here at WA.
It wasn't sure for me whether your site is a WordPress site.
Other than that, there is nothing to worry about.
I would, however, save all files locally on your computer.
Once it has been moved here, you won't notice any difference when working on your site. It is the exact same WordPress dashboard.

Carmela, as long as it's a WordPress site the transfer is pretty easy. I recommend saving a backup of your website on your desktop before the transfer, just in case, but you shouldn't have any problems.
In regards to not being able to freely customize current and future websites. You can literally do anything that WordPress is capable of when you host at WA.
