My First Two Sales

WOW! After a long walk, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. After 4 Months in the Wealthy Affiliate platform, I finally made my first two sales. It came to me like a surprise, I wasn't even expecting it.

I started out with Wealthy Affiliate on November 15, 2018. After the first $19 payment, I did not have money for the second month subscription to carry on my business at Wealthy Affiliate. By then I knew practically very little about how Wealthy Affiliate works, the rules and all that.

I managed to get my feet back on the ground on Match 15 2019. And then I resubscribed, that was when I realized that my website was deleted with 12 good contents on it. I had to start all over again. So, I started re posting those contents. But something happened, while I was re posting them, I received a return message telling that my content is plagiarized.

I contacted the person who got me in to find out. He told me that since I am the original author of the contents, there is no problem that I should go ahead and re post them. So, I went ahead and re posted all 12 articles and added new once to them. 3 months later, I noticed those contents were not yet indexed. Rather, the new once I added are the once getting indexed. I tried to make inquiries and I was advised to rewrite them back which I did and I am still doing right now.

On the thirtieth of July, which makes it the fourth month since I resubscribed. I wasn't even expecting any such result since I have not yet started getting any good number page views or website visitors. I was checking my email for a message, and all of a sudden, BOOM! I saw a message ''SALES LEAD'' and I mind flipped.

First, I thought it was an error, then I checked again, the same thing. When I checked my affiliate back office, it was the same thing. This two sales were recorded from one IP Address. This means, the same person bought two products from one page.

The commission is actually not much ($3.94), but I was so happy it happened. I wasn't happy because of the money, of I already said it wasn't much, but my joy was the fact that, at a point in my life, I knew practically nothing about making money online. I come from that part of the world where we have always had it in mind that everything online is not true. In fact, they are all thieves and cannot take you anywhere. But today I am in the industry, I have been able to put something out there that someone can be interested in, and I have been able to solve someone's problem with my work.

Right now, I have 47 post on my website and not up to 30 is indexed. But from the little that got indexed, I was able to make an impact. This goes a long way to say ''I AM MAKING PROGRESS''. If I could do this today, I could do better tomorrow all thanks to Kyle and Carson for their wonderful platform.

Right now, I am still working on the site together with my Affiliate Bootcamp site and I believe it will get better with as time goes on. I just want to add here that, I am not yet making money from my site yet but getting to this point has not been easy for me.

I live in Africa, precisely the Republic of Cameron where unemployment is a staple with us. For that reason, a huge part of the youths survive with minimal jobs. This minimal jobs sometimes maybe as well as may not be available. And that is where I have been having problem. I have not be paying my subscription on time because, when it is time to pay, there is no money and there are no jobs.

I have to go around until I can find one and raise money for my subscription and at the same time, I have to live; So, it has not been easy for me but I refused to give up. When you look at everything happening around me and my business, you will see enough reason for me to give up. Because sometimes I will pay my subscription and stay weeks without working because I don't have internet connection and all that. But I kept on keeping on.

So, what I am trying to point out is that, in whatever we are doing, we need to first of all be determine to take it to the end no matter what happened. Some people see success in business in a very short space of time while others take longer. But the bottom at the end of the day is we are all successful.

So, whatever it is you are doing, whatever maybe happening to your business, always give yourself reason to not give up. In case, you happen to fall maybe due to one reason or the other, of course people fall every day, make sure you fall forward. Don't fall and remain on the ground; If you do, then success is not for you. So, if you are that kind of person, I mean if you are going to give up, then I suggest you give now. Stop reading, stop your membership at Wealthy Affiliate and just leave because you will never be successful.

But I don't think you are that kind of person for reading right to this point, you are serious so, keep your head up and keep working. There is a proverb that says, money is a by product for value creation. So, keep on creating value for your audience and you will be shocked at the impact it will create to your business;
