As I remember being the not so tender age of 12, after seeing the Rolling Stones perform on the Ed Sullivan show. I wanted to learn to play the guitar, my brother had an old guitar that had been passed down from our uncle last star. I told my brother that I wanted to learn to play, a couple days later he started to teach me. However, my brother really didn't play that much anymore. So within two months my brother and my Mum found me a proper guitar teacher, his name was Jack Johnson, two times a week my Mum and I would drive an hour to Jack's house so I could receive my lessons.

Mr Johnson was an excellent teacher with lots of patience, I was committed to how much time that I practice each day with a time sheet for the next 30 day. It did not matter if it was for 15 minutes or for 4 hours; the only important thing was that I did it. After each day of practice, I had to get my time sheet signed by my Mother to show to Mr Johnson that I was doing the practice.

If I did all of my practice sessions every day, without missing a day Mr Johnson, each week would give me a reward. This whole routine taught ma a valuable lesson that I would remember throughout my life; set a target, and be totally disciplined in executing it. Even when you are not in the move and you don't feel like doing it, you do it anyway. That's what disciplines is all about my friends. I learned the value of the almighty Mr patience.

.

However, what is most, I learned the essence of practice. When I first started to play and learn the guitar, I was more than terrible. My timing was always off, I could only play two chords, than after many weeks I stated to get good. I played with different garage bands all over the city, after only 1 year, bands were now seeking me out to play with them. I became a home town success, I even had my own groupies. I begin to play with different bands for money at the hall parties on the weekends.

But my success did not come from any natural talent. It all came from lots of hard work, disciplined and patience. I put in more focused hours than just about any other musician that I knew. I train my mind and body to play well, that's how you get good at anything, and that's how you're going to become good at affiliate marketing

There are a bunch of affiliate marketers out there, that believe they are going to be an overnight success without putting in the work the dedication the disciplined and the patients.

Surprise, surprise, it's not easy, they try it for a while until they realize it is work, and they're not going to get that $250,000 sports car or live in that ocean front property within a few months. When they don't see immediate results, they give up. Please my friends, never sell yourself short, don't make that horrible mistake.

It will take you some time to become good at affiliate marketing, however if you stick to your guns and practice it with all the same discipline as you would practice a guitar you will become good. Never give up, believe in what you do, most of all BELIEVE IN YOU.
