Forest bathing-this is a therapy that prescribes an immersion among the trees to embrace our emotional well-being. We all know that hanging in nature is a very good thing, especially when ous citys can be extremely stressful at times. And of course that stress means there's little or no headspace to plan nature into our lives: Ironically, because the big outdoos can give us the mentay clarity that we need. Forest bathing can provides a guide for overloaded urbanites to access the beautiful green spaces beyond the city's suburbs. I'm definitely all in for a plan to help keep physical and mental health intact, and I sincerely know that walking through a forest or a large city park is good for my soul. But unfortunately for those who are liveing in the middle of big cities, going to the nearest forest is a considerable undertaking.

It requires transport and haveing the time, although I do adore walking among fall leaves and the spring bluebells, a monthly stroll through the trees is not even close enough to ease the scars and the pressures of city life. I also think that haveing regular contact with Mother Nature is more important than an occasional total immersion, and not my friends, only for the peace of mind that it can bring. Fresh air and natural light help to reset our body's circadian rhythm, aiding a peaceful and a restful night's sleep. In addition, unconnecting yourself form the morening phone-check delays any potential unwanted stress response.

I was no doubt out of my so called comfort zone the very first time that I took a dawn-lit trip to place my hands on a tree, dog walkers and joggers nearby. However, then I suddenly realize that the headspace and the peace it gave me was so worth it. Mother Nature moves as its own pace and stops us speeding too fast for our own good. Adopting a regular urban alternative to forest bathing reminds me in a very big way, there's more to life than the dizzying cofluence of thoughts always racing about my mind. So my friends remember: No one needs the grandeur of a forest immersion to received the much needed benefits of Mother Nature. Just by you creating a regular practice, close to your home, you'll sleep better, slow down, reflect, and feel the calmness all around the inside and the outside of your world.

WAKE UP SUPER EARLY, GET UP, GET DRESSED, AND GET OUTSIDE. DON'T CHECK YOUR CELL PHONE. JUST GO AND SAY HELLO TO MOTHER NATURE.

Yes, mother nature is very soothing indeed to the soul.
Sometimes just laying in the grass after a busy day works wonders.
I love waking up at dawn, to greet the day.
The earth's vibes are so peaceful at the break of dawn before others are out and about.
Listening to the birds in the trees, smelling the salt in the air, the cool breeze on my face, enjoying the green of the foliage is such a blessing.

Awesome post.
Theresa

Walking in nature is wonderful. a meditation all of its own.

Good afternoon my friend, you are quite right nature in itself is definitely a way to receive a natural meditation of the heart, Mind and Spirit. May you have a most wonderful week with much success.

I love mother nature and the peace and beauty she offers.

We used to do a lot of camping. We loved it.

There were several late nights around a camp fire. No matter what time we went to bed, we woke up early to the sound of birds singing.

The eggs and bacon never looked so bad, but the taste was the best.

It was a different world. No cell phones, no TV just the car stereo playing our favorite tunes. My gosh, we did not even listen to the news.

Mother nature offers the best cures, to almost every aspect.

I love your final paragraph. It is so important.

Thank you for the share,

Michael

Good afternoon Michael, I to remember those days of camping, oh my God, those were some of the best days of my life as a child. Also when my children were young, I took them camping, I long for those days once again. I have to get out of the city my brother. May you have a wonderful weekend.

I grew up in the Australian bush. Now that i live in a regional city I certainly miss the smell of the eucalypt oil from the leaves of the gum trees. It certainly had a calming affect. Jim

Good morning Jim, yes indeed I find when I hang out in mother nature for a while the creativity juice begins to flu so much easier. I am now making it a every day routine to get out and about with Mother Nature. May you have a beautiful weekend.

Great post!
I live in the city, but on weekends I spend it very often in the countryside and it is true that Mother Nature is resurrecting.

Have a great day!
Ingrid

Good morning, yes I do understand I'm making it a everyday habit now, creativity just flows through me when I'm in Mother Nature. The city sometimes seems to drain me, may you have a outstanding weekend.

I've lived in both secluded and urban areas, and I've always been happiest secluded in the woods.

There's just something about being alone in nature that gives me a sense of wellbeing and calmness in my soul. Especially in the fall, with the cool air, stillness, and quiet all around.

I feel better now with that thought running through my head.

Thanks,

Michael

Good morning, yes I find that to be true for me also. A calmness that I don't receive in the city, the creativity is so bright within. My mind comes alive when I'm out in Mother Nature, the clarity comes alive. I wrote this blog sitting down next to a tree. May you have a very peaceful happy weekend.

I am so fortunate! I live in the middle of a forest; I am surrounded by trees. I love trees, and have always found forests to be places of special enchantment.

Good evening my friend, I am going to move out of the city, I want to live like you do.

Boy, I don't blame you. I couldn't live happily in a city at this point in my life.

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you my friend, if you have the time re-read it. I was in the middle of a spelling check when you was reading it that I had forgot to do.
