What is the truth about Wealthy Affiliate?

In my time here with Wealthy Affiliate I've found so much relevant training in such a short time, that I'm wondering how I ever expected to have success online without it. Many who are interested from the outside looking in find themselves asking, "What is the truth about Wealthy Affiliate?"

How do you usually respond?
I want everyone in the WA communityreading this to comment below with your absolute favorite part of Wealthy Affiliate. Here's how I'd respond to "What is the truth about Wealthy Affiliate?" and my reasons as to why so many have found success.

I find the most sincere responses communicate the most. Before I started with WA I had this impossible dream of building a travel blog that would slowly but surely gain followers. I would travel and write and share, and gain a following. I could then get sponsored by hotels, airlines, etc and get paid to go on trips and review the merchants I used! Great plan, right?

But how exactly did I expect to gain followers and be seen? I had no idea, lol. I guess I thought it would just happen. But that's not how online success usually works.

The training here at WA prepares us for success. If WA just offered up this huge amount of training for us to look through and discover on our own I'd probably have no idea where to start.

Instead, it's given to us in course lessons, step by step. We're practically led by the hand with each and every step we take towards our success. And I don't know about you, but I feel the video training within each course lesson is invaluable. The set up and delivery of each lesson is where WA shines the most. Learn, duplicate, share with the community. It's really a genius concept.

That leads me to a very crucial and important part of why WA succeeds: the WA community.

Every time we create new content, it is instantly getting seen and interacted with. I used to hate that feeling of putting together a great post on my blog before WA and finishing it and sharing it, only to see that a handful of my friends actually read it.

Here at WA our content is constantly seen and given feedback thanks to the Feedback and Comments tools. If you're not using these two tools, START NOW.

By getting instant feedback we find out exactly where we need to improve our content. Maybe we didn't communicate our thoughts quite as clearly as we thought. Maybe we misspelled one word wrong like 8 times. Maybe people finish reading our content and say, "What is he smoking over there?". Lol.

Through feedback we get better, and with the WA community interacting with our content, Google sees a site that is thriving and needs to be highly ranked.

I'm so thankful for finding this platform and thankful for everyone's help. The training I've received has me now with two websites that I'm very proud of with detailed plans for where to take each one moving forward.

Whether you're new or a seasoned WA veteran, stick with the training, follow the lessons, create, share, and interact, and you'll have continued success turning your passion into revenue.

Its saver to be 23 than 25. So no risk of oscillating back.
You've already earned the 2 steps. Congrats.

Always appreciate your support, brother.

You are the one who don't give up, you risk your life for others.
What I do is nothing compared to what you did as firefighter.
You are a great man, brother.

As always I appreciate the kind words. Thank you!

Well deserved.

thank you!

You are welcome.

I have been reading several of your posts, and I have a question. Did you do all the training? And, when did you start making money online? I am used to hard work. I get it. I am an editor and a teacher, so I am patient. But I just want to hear that someone is making some money so I stay motivated.

Also, how many blog posts do you write per day/week?

Thanks,

Elizabeth

How's it going Elizabeth? I appreciate your sincerity. I'm smack dab in the middle of the training. I decided to go through the WA Affiliate Bootcamp myself. I'm someone who is absolutely addicted to traveling. Like seriously addicted, lol. Every couple months I take off cuz when I'm seeing the beauty of this world I feel ALIVE, know what I mean?

So, I figured if this is what I want to do more and more of, then I need to have a business I can take with me. I'm a firefighter and have been for the last 15 years. My schedule is great, but my wanderlust is greater :)

So I found Wealthy Affiliate, and decided I would love to pass on this training to other people just like me looking for that training platform that actually delivers.

Soon, I'd like to build more sites on specific micro niches applying the training I've gotten here as well.

I got my first sale 6 weeks in. And while I'm proud of that, I've talked with very successful people here in WA (namely the person who got me involved) who went, in his case, 9 months without a sale. But he didn't give up. He knew he was creating solid content and he trusted in the system. Talk to him now and he'll tell you about his $4,000 month that would have never been possible if he gave up even after 9 months of work.

Most traditional business go over a year without hitting the profit zone. I was fully expecting to be running on self motivation for atleast 6 months without getting a dollar in return. I'm proud to say I got into the profit zone two months in and have stayed comfortably there.

Again, everyone's results will be different, and I'm sure you know that.

I try to write a new post twice a week or so. I was keeping with that pace pretty well until my last trip to Australia a few weeks ago and when I got back I decided to give my site a facelift (just cuz I like the design aspect of things really).

I just finished with that and now I'm ready to hit it again. But I do have a Thailand trip in a week so I might sneak one new post in before the trip and then hit it hard again when I return. (I told you I was addicted to travel, right?) lol.

That's my personal experience, Elizabeth. I hope that helps a little bit with some perspective. Stay motivated and don't quit! Kyle steers us right. I hope my story helps even a little. :) Take care.

OH!!! Thanks so much! I have been on fire these last few days writing blogs posts. and your kind and thoughtful and motivational response has really helped. I appreciate it!

I love that you love to travel, and good that you are creating that life for yourself. Do you incorporate travel tips/information into your blogs? Since you love it, you might as well write about it, right? ;-)

You're so right and in fact I just recently decided to incorporate it as well. Added a new category so I can share not only some of my travels, but some tips as well. I figure those who work from their laptop would want to see some good travel tips as well.

Excellent post, Eric. We are certainly fortunate to have access to such quality training.

Marcel..

Absolutely. Very thankful.

Good Blog Eric. For me it is not one thing, it is the integration of everything: Platform, Community, Training. Cheers, William.

Agreed. The training alone wouldn't make this site what it is. It's how everything works together between training, the community, and the application. Thanks William!

The ability to learn at our own pace as well as access such a massive knowledge-base are two great features. I used to Google a lot more, but these days I do most of my web searches at the top of the WA page. It's amazing what you can find.

Learning st your own pace is key. I like being able to go as fast or slow as I need to.

I find myself doing the same thing you do when it comes to searches. The community here, between articles written and live chat, always seems to have the answer.

Thanks for your comment.

Hey Eric,
Great post !
I think the pay it forward comments and feedback is really the core of WA and without it we would really struggle and it just wouldn't be as fun. The training videos are tremendous value, it's like having a personal trainer guru 24/7.

Rock on
Dan

I like that: we have our own "personal trainer guru" at our disposal 24-7, except for online business instead of muscles lol.

Thanks Dan!

I love the step-by-step training that WA has us go through. They break the entire process down into easy to comprehend steps unlike most other programs/courses out there that send you a bunch of manuals and CDs to figure out for yourself. Also, the large interactive community on WA is awesome. Keeps me motivated knowing that I'm not alone.

"CREATE THE LIFE you can't wait to wake up to"

I'm right there with you man, the step by step training with videos in each lesson is where it's at. Short, easy to follow, with tasks to practice what you just learned. Thanks for the comment, brother.

Well said my friend. A good blog. Robert

Thanks Robert!
