The Website is Coming Along
I'm happy with the progress so far. I've learned so much and I'm thoroughly enjoying the course content. I can't even imagine what the site is going to look like 6 months down the road. There is so much to learn but it's all made so easy that I wake up and can't wait for the next lesson.
I recently revised the look of the site. I changed themes as my first choice was just a little too basic for my tastes. I really should have taken a picture of the old site I'd be able to keep track of the changes, but that being said, at the time of this post this is what my site currently looks like:
Still in its infancy. One review post and 3 theme pages, but i like the feel of where it's going now. It's cool to think that in a year or so this will look so empty compared to what the site will become. I'm glad we have this blog to keep as a journal of our progress. I also recently updated all the content within each post and page. In my excitement to get this thing rolling i found that i had come off VERY salesmany in many of the posts. Lots of YOU'RE GOING TO BE AMAZED and BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE type phrases scattered throughout my content lol. I've changed that and made it a little more like if i was having a conversation with someone, keeping the enthusiasm but toning it down juuuuust a bit.
