Back From Switzerland Tours! Thank you, Wealthy Affiliate!

I'm back from my Switzerland tours and, as always, I have Wealthy Affiliate to thank. With every flight, and every stay, and every new destination, it's Wealthy Affiliate that has given me this awesome opportunity to explore.

Switzerland. Was. Amazing.
Wanna spend the next 5 minutes reliving my week there? Cool.

First of all, if you haven't been, put it near the top of your travel bucket list. It is one of the most scenic countries I've ever been to. With incredible mountains, huge lakes, lush valleys, and a very welcoming people, it was one of my favorite vacations so far.

I arrived in Geneva around 11 am to perfect, sunny weather. I couldn't have asked for anything better, but after 10+ hours of flight, I was tired. Switzerland is 7 hours ahead of Texas time, so I definitely needed one.

I'm not good at short naps. In fact, I'm horrible at it. And when I'm on vacation I feel, on principle, that I shouldn't be using alarm clocks. So I fell asleep and then 6 hours later woke up.

That's what vacations are for, right? And it was all good, cuz it was 5 pm, and a perfect time to venture out, sight see, and grab a quick bite.

Thankfully, sunset in Geneva is around 9:45 pm. No joke. It doesn't get dark there till really late.

So this gave me plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the sites like the awesome Jet d'Eau that shoots straight up out of Lake Geneva that you can see even from the flight coming in. I ended my night sitting back at a spot right on the lake called Riverside cafe and ended my night perfectly.

This was the beginning of a great, relaxing week filled with lots of sites seen, new places explored, new friends made, great food, and awesome experiences.

I took awesome excursions to neighboring Chamonix and made my way to see the top of snow capped Mont Blanc in France, took a lake cruise exploring Lake Geneva, made my way via train to the city of Lucerne, explored the awesome region of Jungfraujoch and the awesome cogwheel train that takes you to the top, cruised the huge Lake Lucerne as I snuck into first class on a really nice cruise ship, and made friends with 2 girls working at my hotel who then spent my last day with me venturing out to the mountain resort of Burgenstock.

I got to see sunny skies, snow, unbelievable lakes and even got to watch a rain storm rolling in from a mountain top viewpoint.

I'm addicted to travel. It's my passion and, truth be told, it's why I was so excited when I first found Wealthy Affiliate. Everyone here has their 'why' for seeking out this training platform. And mine was so I could find a way to fund more travels and give myself both the time freedom and financial freedom to do so.

And now, a year and a half into my journey, I can thankfully say Wealthy Affiliate has been the exact vehicle I was looking for.

With every destination, I come back thirsting for more, and thanks to this awesome platform and the training provided, I can plan all those trips I never knew I'd be taking. I had no idea that it would not only fund those travels, but provide me with a viable path towards firing my boss and working for myself.
