SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam window doesn't show on website

Hi guys and girls, I finally figured out why I could not see the SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam window on my website.

There is a setting in the options:

If the setting is ticked and you are logged in to google chrome or are a registered user it will display it as follows:

I wanted to test if it was working but I could not see it.

So if you untick the option and save the settings it allows you to see the CAPTCHA even if you are logged in to google chrome or a registered user.

Then it will look like this:

Hope I safe some other people time in the future.

It annoyed the hell out of me.

Eric

Thank you!!

Thank you SOOOOOOOO Much !!! You know why... LOL

Thanx for clearing this issue up...I've been wondering what I had done wrong....All better now! =0)

Saved me from starting a support ticket. Thanks.

Hi, Eric. I still can't get it to show. I followed your instructions but it's not working. Any other suggestions?

Link me to your site and I'll try to troubleshoot with you. That is, if you're still having the issue.

I found out it shows if I log out and then come back in. Build My Website will say something is published and then I just have to believe it. Thanks for your assistance.

DA! I was trying to figure out what I did wrong, one click an it all was there! Thanks Eric!

Thanks a million! It has been driving me crazy on my website. I have been trying to figure this out for the last half hour. One more question....the whole comment form is not showing on my website either. Shouldn't there be a spot that says name, email, comment? All my website says is comment.

is a subscription required for comments on your page? if so, that maybe the reason.

Thanks slethcoe but I fixed the problem. Everything is good now. :-)

Thanks for this! ;)

It did So thanks for the tip. It's the little things, {Tips}, that count.

You should always check your site in an Incognito Tab in Chrome or log-out of your site entirely if you want to check how visitors will see your site. For example, if you require additional fields such as email address in the comments area, these won't show if you're logged in as a registered user. Also, some themes can behave strangely if you're logged in. for example drop down menus may appear hit and miss because their triggers are forced out of alignment by the additional display of the WordPress menu on the left hand side, etc. Rich.

Thanks Rich, a welcome comment to the issue at hand. I think a lot of us new guys stumble upon these things on way or another have to figure them out. That why I wrote a blog about this. Thanks again for your helpfull information. Eric.

No probs. It's always a good idea to hop into chat and holler or open a discussion if someone get's stuck, there's usually some Members about who will have the solution to hand or can advise who best can answer it. I've found that 99% of the questions I've had can be answered just by typing a word or two of the problem into the search bar at the top of the Dashboard as yours does now. :) Rich.

Thanks for the feedback Rich, It is good to know all these things

Thank you Rich I just logged out of admin and then I could see the captcha and whole comment form. Thanks for clearing that up. :-)
