Short Answer: To make individuals the best version of themselves through self-development and administering the right techniques to become a better self. One word that means a lot to me is "Kaizen," meaning continous improvement. Kaizen is a peakless mountain, but once you will find your ikigai, you will never want to stop climbing, regardless of the obstacles that await. Short Answer there, now below long answers and explanations of what the blog will be about.

1. Let us say you're in a fitness class and it involves 45-minute cycling courses. With my experience as a student-athlete (Cross Country and Track & Field) over 9 years, I can definitely point people in the right direction for improving their aerobic capacity.

2. Mental self-development, over the past 2.5 years, I have really started to learn about why some people are just able to achieve a lot more than others but feel happy at the same time. How I got started was it was my sophomore year of college, Spring semester, I was in Petroleum Engineering (do not want to do anymore) and I was in these two courses where (I promise, I am not joking) where one you have to memorize 600 slides worth of Rock Property material, words, equations, ideas and all of it was fair game, the other compile 15-20 page reports with 3 other group members. All while I was running 100 miles a week as a student-athlete at the University of Oklahoma. 220 students started my Sophomore year, 155 Juniors right after that course. Anyway, I was really stressed out and that was when I decided to do self-teaching, primarily to figure out why some individuals can achieve so much more yet be smiling at the same time. It even led me to Wealthy Affiliate here, and even as of right now (on this post) on my 24th birthday, I feel that I have struck gold in terms of self-education and really determining what it is you want in life. Wow, I wrote a little too much there.

3. Really emphasize ikigai, not only teach what that is but get everyone to find theirs. Ikigai is Japanese for "reason for being" it is why you get up in the morning. In order to know your ikigai, you need to be doing something that satisfies four criteria: Something you are passionate about, something you can get paid for, something you love and something that the world needs. And with Wealthy Affilate, I can really promote and spread awareness to these niches right here and make the world a better place as a result

Hi Eric

Love your mindset and your driving force. Over the last 9 years of being full time online, we have had our 'why' (ikigai) fixed firmly in our mind.
We only found WA just under a month ago and we are already seeing it as a powerful vehicle with which to realise a large part of our why - to help others achieve their in-built potential.

Love you passion and we wish you every success

Jon and Debbie

Thank you very much for reading Jon! My hope is sometime in the future, everyone is able to know their whys in life, whereby we are all doing something that we were meant to be doing in the first place. So the more this message is spread across and the more discussion there is, the faster this hope can become a reality.
