Super Affiliate Challenge Update

I have been working diligently over the weekend on my SAC website. Working on the site consumes a lot of time but the rewards will be well worth the efforts. It helps to take a break from it once in a while to get renewed creativity. When my drive goes and my mind starts wondering that's when I know it's time for a break but a lot of the time I find myself coming up with ideas for the site even when I'm away from the action.

During the week I had many doctors appointments and had to work at my night job. The night job is the one I'm trying to replace with affiliate marketing. Anyway during the last week I worked on finishing an article on the affiliate training we get here at WA. The training article I explained all the great training we get here in detail. It was the longest article that I have written so far 6000 plus words. It took me about a month working on it on and off while I was writing other articles but I finished it up on Friday.

Saturday I started another article which took most of the day. That was a 1600 word article about starting an affiliate marketing website. Most of the articles that I have written so far I get the information and ideas from WA. I never run out of material to write about and have no problem getting over a 1000 words in my content.

Over Half Way Through The 1st Month

I'm over half-way with the articles that are needed for this first months part of the challenge. I have 7 written out of the 12 and another one in mind. During the weekend I also added a contact form and change my theme. Still, not sure if I'm happy with it but it's still early in the game.

I want to make my homepage look totally different. I have thrive themes and hoping to get one of those cool looking homepages like Jay has in his affiliate resources website because a regular list of blog posts just seems so dull and boring.

I tried the training that thrive themes has on making a homepage from scratch but it seemed way over complicated the way the guy from thrive themes teaches it so I'm hoping someone here can help me design a good-looking homepage or maybe I can find some training that's easier to understand and goes slower so that I can comprehend how to do it.

If there is anyone who is fluent in making a Thrive Themes homepage I could use some help with making mine.

That's about it for now trying to beautify and get my website design and look down to where I like it and make it more professional looking.

Here's Too Our Success! Have a great and productive week everyone!!

Cheers,

Cory

Hey Cory,

Great work. As far as Thrive, my recommendation would be to convert your Homepage to a static page, and then use one of the custom page templates. Br creative. That's what I do.

Wishing you all the best, work slowly at it by repeating the tutorials, and you will get it.

Kaju

Have an amazing and productive week ahead!

Thank you! Take care.

Sounds like you're well on your way to replacing that night job, Cory!

My goal is to replace my night job in 1 1/2 to 2 years.

I think that's achievable with your dedication. I believe in you :-)
