Is Apple Going To Launch Their Own Search Engine?
There are some rumblings in the search engine realm! The Department of Justice is suing Google for violating Anti-trust laws. This is not a good thing for Google who has become the dominant player in the search engine world.
In my opinion they have too much control and they are starting to take more and more traffic from us and using it for their purposes.
Google Pays Apple Billions
Google pays Apple billions of dollars so that Apple will have Googles search engine as the default search engine on their Safari browser platforms. Apple and Google might not be able to keep this deal if the DOJ has their way.
So I have heard rumblings in the search engine communities that Apple might roll out their own search engine.
Apple is Investing in Search
Apple is investing in search by hiring many search engine specialists and engineers which you can see here. Why would they invest in hiring search engineers if they weren't going to get into the search engine biz?
That's not all. Apple has updated their Apple bot crawler page and some folks have noticed that Apple bot has been crawling their pages. Apple already has what they call Spotlight search that's used on Mac computers and can be used on your iPhone. So in the very least they are probably going to be expanding spotlight search.
Is Change Coming?
I believe change is on the horizon in the search engine world. I think Google has become too big for their own good and I would like to see fresh players in the search industry. This could be a change for good. I think it would be good to have more competition in the search engine world.
Who knows? It could be a good thing or a bad thing for affiliate marketers. We will eventually find out. The internet is a young entity and will be changing quite a bit as time goes on. We as affiliate marketers really need to pay attention to change and adapt and grow with it. That's the only way to succeed in this business.

The seeds of Googles demise have been sowen and are germanating. So change is now irriversable.
Huawei was pushed into a corner, another player huge innovation going on there.
Apple may go down that path, the issue they are way too precious, and need to lighten up.
I see the Edge browser is set to over take Firefox.
The search market is hotting up.
I have not used Edge yet, but I have used Firefox for over 15years. Alex have you tried Edge? If so what was your experience?
