Forgotten online real estate.
I can be a bit dense sometimes.
I realized earlier today that there are websites that I had previously attempted to monetize a number of years ago via Adsense that are still up and running. Over the years, they've made a very small amount of money, like $100 a year or so for three websites without absolutely nothing done with them for the past four years (that is except to renew the domains).
This morning, I was thinking about the fact that my husband's website for his business in pop culture collectibles (he has a physical location) gets a few hundred visitors to his site a month and started wondering if might be possible to capitalize on that traffic.
And then I started thinking about those other sites I had pretty much forgotten about.
So I added some Amazon affiliate links to my husband's site and will look at other ways it might be possible to optimize that site to generate some online income.
As for the other two sites (I let one of the domains expire a couple of months ago), I will start generating more targeted content for them to see whether or not they can start making more money using what I'm learning here at WA!
Now, the challenge is not to get overwhelmed or too unfocused by the number of projects I can be working on right now.
So, for the sake of clarity for myself, my online business activities will be focused in this order:
1) Adding content to new niche site
2) Optimizing and adding affiliate links to husband's current website
3) Creating new targeted content and increase ranking for forgotten websites.

Good luck. Multiple sites are a challenge. Be sure to make time for yourself as well. :)
