10 Tips For Staying Productivity While Working From Home
Due to happenings worldwide, more people now work from home than ever before.
Working from home juggling between family and work can be challenging; it's so easy to get distracted with other activities around the home.
And Bang, before you can say jack, time is gone, nothing tangible achieved.
Here're few tips to help us improve our working habits.
1. Set regular working hours
Yes, we decide our schedule, set our time. After all, we own our business.
How about we set regular working hours and treat our website as a real business. It doesn't look so easy, but we can do it maybe with the help of time tracking apps like RescueTime, Workflowmax, Toggl.
With this information, you get to know what time you're most productive and less productive. Knowing your best-performing hours can help you make the most of them.
2. Avoid distraction
Working from home has its challenges; it's so easy to get distracted. Look for ways to design a realistic schedule and keep to it.
3. Negotiate with the family
If you've young children, you can negotiate quiet moments with them. Let them know why that time is crucial to you. The easy way to do this is when you know your most productive period.
If you have a hard time staying productive during the day like me, waking up early is a good option.
For instance, I'm most productive early in the morning, so I get up early to work while everyone is still asleep. Therefore, 3 hours of this time is better than 6 hours of any other time for me. But, of course, it depends on what works best for you.
4. Monitor your business progress
We need to monitor our business progress constantly. Find out what is working and what is not. Check your analytics, improve where necessary.
5. Take regular breaks
After working for some time, stand up, move around for 25-30mins. Or, you may take longer breaks, go for a walk, interact with the community here, spend some time with the family, take time to refresh.
6. Have a designated working space
It can be tempting to feel like working from the bed, but it's easy to get distracted. If you don't have a spare room to use, create some space around the home.
7. Network with others in your niche
You can find locate them in various Facebook groups. Interact and stay connected with people in WA. Like, comment, teach, learn, ask, help, get involved, and put in your best.
8. Be optimistic
Focus on your goals, believe in yourself, and stay positive.
9. Never stop learning
- Follow the training here carefully.
- Implement.
- Continue learning new skills to boost your business.
10. Take time for yourself:
Eat the right food, get enough sleep, exercise, spend time with loved ones, and go on vacation when needed.
