It seems I'm full of questions today, and I'm really thankful for everyone's help.

I'm wondering do I really need LeadPages or Unbounce or something similar? Wouldn't it

You can create a free site rubix website and use it for creating landing pages. I use thrive architect plugin to do this

One of the reasons that people use landing page software like click funnels is that click funnels has a payment software for people with their own products its like the all in one solution

Barry

Oh, that makes sense. I don't really need payment software though. I'm a copywriter so I send invoices to clients separately. This helps a lot. I'm just using a lead page to collect leads. I can easily do that with what I have. Thanks for your advice.

You should be able to create your own landing pages with Divi and I'm sure they also have optin forms etc

That's what I was thinking. I was just wondering if there was another reason everyone seemed to use landing page software.

I know a lot of people use it because they don't want the traffic they are driving to landing pages to interfere with their normal site traffic, but I think setting up a subdomain solves that problem.

Just to take a wild guess, perhaps some people aren't using a full-featured premium page builder such as Divi or Thrive Architect and want to be able to create professional looking landing pages.

You shouldn't need to use a sub-domain though.

Won't hosting the landing page on my normal WordPress site affect the traffic tracking?

I use Thrive Architect and I love it, I can do a lot of things that I can't do with Wordpress normal editor, like adding converting call to actions, tables and a lot more.

What do you mean by converting call to actions? Do you use Divi with Wordpress or do you solely use WordPress?

Thrive looks awesome. Their annual membership has pretty much anything you would ever need. Divi is great, but I honestly think this may be a bit better. Thanks for the recommendation.

Call to actions are buttons and links that you want your readers to click to visit your money pages (sales pages)

TA allows you to create call to actions that get clicked.

I have a website for my copywriting business that I'd like to transfer over to the WA site. I'm not worried about transferring the copy or design on it. The site is more of a s

You can use your domain here at WA 2 ways:

1) Simply change the domain name servers to WA's. This will leave the current registrar untouched and allow you to use your domain here at WA.

2) Transfer your domain to WA. This will actually change your registrar to WA for your domain.

As for your site, you can either move it or set it up anew. That's up to you. WA's hosting is WordPress based so Divi should work.

A few questions about transferring my website to wa hosting?

Since Google removed the Fetch feature, how do you submit links to Google for indexing?

Log into the Google Search Console and enter the post's URL into the URL Inspection field and hit enter. If not already indexed, you can request indexing at this point.

Thanks so much. I'm going to play around with this now!

Any time

Do a search for Google Search Console and sign in (or create an account if you haven't got one). Then find 'URL Inspection' in the left hand menu.

Type in the URL of the page you'd like to index, then submit when prompted.

Hope this helps, Dave

I can't get the Google Search Console to work properly for me. Every time I try to activate it, I go back out and back in and it says I have to activate it again.

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Maybe you can help or point me to a tutorial?

Actually, I think I just figured it out. Thanks so much for your advice. Now, I need to figure out what I did to make it work so I can instruct my client to do the same.

Do you know if there's a way to see if a blog post is indexed and what kws it's ranking for without looking at the Analytics? That may be easier than trying to walk my client through it.

If you type in a url to Search Console and it is already indexed, it tells you. Jaxxy is good for ranking queries, but you need to have some idea what your keywords are!

Search Console will show you which keywords/phrases are generating impressions for your site and which pages. It'll also tell you what index position those queries are in.

Watch Jay's recent webinar on Search Console Dave

This is EXACTLY the answer I needed! I love Jaaxy, but I'm not sure I'm using it to its fullest potential. I'm going to play around with the Search COnsole and Jaaxy today. I have a handful blog posts I've written for a client that aren't ranking as I expected them too (I know you can't really predict it, but I usually have a good idea) and I'm having a hard time troubleshooting. Your answers help so much! Thanks!
