opt in pages.where is the blog?
Tonight I have been doing some research and have noticed something that is beginning to drive me nuts.
Opt in pages appear on lots of different sites and blogs.....ok. I do not have a problem with that. It is slightly annoying if you are reading something and the opt in appears and covers up what your reading. No problem, just click it away.
But I noticed that qite a few cannot be clicked away or they just take a long time to go or worse one site replaced the opt in for a different opt in page.
Now I know opt in pages are important but please everyone, think about your readers. I know I did not stick around and just went to a different blog or site, so other people would do the same.
Don't be so intent on growing your list with opt in pages that readers cannot find your site or blog.

Right! I hate also when clicking the site away a pop up appears asking if you really want to leave the site. This is definitely a reason for leaving!

I agree! Its happening more often. It doesn't matter how much I want to read the blog, it turns me off and I move on.
People wonder why they don't make money, it's because they are chasing potential customers away.
very true. I don't one opt in but when you have more that come up as soon as you click away the first it is annoying. I want to know what the person says before I commit. At least the first line. lol

Than each 15 minutes
AND NOW YOU CAN WATCH YOU MOVIE DURING THE PUBLICITY...

I know exactly what you mean. It is rude that television stations interrupt your ads by placing the occasional bit of program. lol. A one hour program is half ads and half program. It is so frustrating some times, as punishment they should be made to watch their own programming. lol.

The punishment is a good idea !
And only adds with sweets and succulent dishes and they are not allowed to grab something from the fridge !
Because in the good old times we had a few minutes to grab something from the fridge during the publicity !
Just to remind them !!
