No Google Adsense at this time. Blah!

Hi everyone,

As I have been progressing through the training, I got to the stage where, I signed up for Google Adsense. course 3, Lesson 7.

Although I was hesitant, I did it. But, I have very, very little traffic to my site. Consequently I was rejected at this time because I did not meet google Adsense criteria. After all that crap about where to post the link, gees.

I digress, anyway, after I read that I had a 10 minute rant and pity party. Then I thought, well, dugghhhh, I don't have traffic. I am learning and building slowly.

But I also thought, I can't be the only one ever rejected at some point by Adsense. So, I want to tell everyone, who is at this stage of training, if this happens to you......don't worry about it.

Yes, have a little rant but depending on what stage your at, it is not the end of the world. Building slowly and understanding the process is going to benefit in the long run. I am sure more experienced heads will say the same thing.

Just because the training says you are at a certain level does not necessarily mean you are. I have in fact gone back over training from the start because I have missed little important details. I do other peoples training as well because every little hint you find will help you somewhere.

Just keep going. It will all click into place eventually, we just have to stick to it.

Have a great day.

Onwards and upwards

Sharon

Sharon,
You are exactly where I am in the training. It took me hours to figure out where to paste the code for Adsense. Then the next morning I was rejected.
When I asked the community about this I learned we really dont need it until we have a lot of traffic clicking on our site. Maybe 1000 to 2000 per day. Some even said it males your site look bad.
So for now at least, dont worry or bother with it. I certainly have let go of it.

Thank you very much for telling me. I didn't think about it making the site look bad.

I had no idea how much traffic you would require for some of these things, so thanks for mentioning the 1 -2000. That is a big help to me.

thanks for the help.

Sharon

I have the same issue, Sharon. Thanks

Wayne

Your welcome Wayne.

It certainly will. And in time, it'll all start making more sense, and the results will continue to improve. It's just a matter of time.

Yes, that is true. You learn such as lot and I am sure one day it will all make sense. lol.

Thank you for your comment.

Sharon

Wow, thanks for the heads up. At least I now know what to expect. Learning from all the pro's. Thanks Sharon for your advisable post.

Becky :)

No trouble at all, Becky.

good luck with your progress.

Sharon

I'm a few lessons behind you, but judging by the comments you're not the only one with Adsense issues. Thanks for the heads up, I'd much rather know about the possibility of not being accepted than just have it happen unexpectedly! I hope you get your traffic up, send me a pm and I can go look around your site and leave a few comments if you think it would help? All the best!

thank you, for the offer of help, I will. Yes, I was just doing everything in the lessons as I went along, not thinking about it not being the right tone.
I was surprised when I found out the rest of the world doesn't work by our lesson schedule, golly cheek. lol.
I just love WA so much I forget that places like Adsense may be different.
Keep up your great work, and thanks for the comment.

Sharon

I am finding I have to do the same too, Sharon

Oh, thanks for telling me Carol, it is nice to know you are not alone or done something wrong in connection with the lessons.

I am amazed how much I have discovered I either missed or misunderstood. lol.

Thank you for the support. keep going on your WA journey and the best of luck with it.

Very true Salma. It can be confusing when you do the lesson. But as our sites grow, so will our traffic.

Best wishes to you as you grow your business. Thank you for your comments and support.

I was rejected too. Not liking rejection, I have decided to wait a week or so before trying again. :). :)

Good on you Susan you are my hero. Please do a blog about it so I can cheer you on.

Rejection sux. But when we get accepted it will be sweet. lol.

Thanks for your support.

Your enthusiasm is contagious!

Thank you for infecting me with some this morning!

I am very grateful!

Cheers,

Susan

It's the same thing that happened to me with Amazon dot com. It tells me that we need to work on good content to up the traffic... then at some level of traffic, we then energize the affiliate links.

ahh, thank you, for the heads up. I was looking at amazon.

More content is now my focus.
