Do estores work?

Hi Everyone, I need some advice please.

I am thinking of building an estore using products from Amazon and/or some other supplier. I live in Australia and thought that delivery from Amazon may be a problem.

I was wondering if delivery is a problem if you have an estore? I am thinking of a form of dropshipping maybe. Or preferably just an Amazon affiliate but an estore style of site.

Does anyone know the pros and cons of an estore other than delivery?

Also is there a training for estores?

I may sound a bit vague but I am exploring this idea and don't yet know enough to ask specific questions.

Thank you for any help or advice.

You can always sell digital products.

Oh that is true, I hadn't actually thought of that at all.

thank you for the inspiration. i will look into that.

PLR so you can make the money, still someone else created it but you have the rights to sell it

I use Shopify as selling platform and get my stuff through Alibaba. Works great.

thank you. I looked at Alibaba but wasn't sure about there delivery.

I will further into the whole idea. Is shopify easy to use?

I would say yes.

I would say you could approach any company about it. For example I find items I want to promote, but sometimes they don't have an affiliate program. I just contact them to ask if they have an affiliate program or would be interested in allowing me to promote their product. Two affiliates had an affiliate program that they weren't advertising and I am working on one that I'm pretty sure is going to work with me! Exciting. So, I say just create your own!

You find all kinds. I had one company who did not want to affiliate with me because I had never ordered their product and "would have no understanding of how to market our products without having experienced them." A friend had given me a gift of various samples and I was very familiar with the quality. Oh well.

DaveSW here at WA has a nice blog "e commerce and ebay"

thank you for the information, I will check it out.

They're great. investigate and go for the ones that resonate best!

Thank you I will look further into it.

Interesting.

That is really the best way to go and there are many different companies that are set up to drop ship---all you have to do is contact them directly and find out their policies for shipping outside their country---today, because we're a global economy many companies have factories or warehouses in more than one country--this is my specialty as a career coach--in fact if you want to you can even have those companies private label products with your company name--you just need to find out which companies will private label products for you

oh wow thank you so much for the information. i will definately look into it further.

Ithank you again for your help

I also want to know about that.

I think it is an interesting option, but I didn't know anything about it.

i also am very interested in learning more about e-commerce stores. i dont think theres training on here

DaveSW apparently has a blog here on WA 'ecommerce and ebay'. I thought I would pass that along, I haven't checked it out yet but I will.

Interesting subject I think. Good luck
