I spent several hours, over the past few days, troubleshooting a seemingly hopeless cause. Atmail through WA refused my login attempts even after creating a 2nd and 3rd separate email account using WA provided passwords and server settings. People told me the WA Atmail rarely works and has a lot of problems.

Disturbed by that answer, I continued to troubleshoot. I continuously keep getting a "server refusal" error. So... I moved on... I copied the server setting provided by WA Hosting and moved on to Outlook, using POP3. Incoming mail server is OK. However Outbound is not working... Here's the repeating message "Send test e-mail message: The server responded: 550 relay not permitted" I need some hardcore tech assistance.

I cannot verify my Twitter account sent to my mail. I have not found anyone to answer my question in 2 days and I have not received a response from my support ticket. My domain name is onlinemoneymaker.xyz. Can you help? Thank you for taking time to read and respond. I greatly appreciate it!

Thx... ya.. support still hasn't responded. I don't know the typical turn around time on a support ticket.

Thanks a lot Darwyn!!! That helped me out greatly. Apparently it's an authentication issue. I'll tinker around with the settings. Again, much appreciated!!

Never came back to tell you, but the problem was on the advanced tab in account settings. had to check "smtp server requires authentication". I wrote a blog on it, but can't post it due to WA limitations on members under 3 months. Buncha crap. In 3 months I'll be way beyond the point of helper blogs. Unfortunately the WA Network cannot benefit from my work.

That's cool you got it sorted Corey. Sometimes we look for the difficult answers first? Don't sweat it on releasing your training mate. Keep anything that you write and I'm sure it will be of great value to those less savvy. I have seen many members here chomping at the bit to write training and straight out of their 3 months went to town! Looking forward to your future training my friend.
Cheers

Hm. I just logged into 3 existing accounts using atmail, and created 3 more on different domains to see if I could log in. All were logged in successfully.

I also sent test emails from my gmail account to my domain email for several different domains, and all checked out.

So from my end, everything is working. That being said, I'm sure it's frustrating that you can't verify your Twitter account!

Are you logging into Atmail from the login button within WA? Are you copy/pasting the password correctly (no extra spaces)

I would try to get that working before trying to set up your email with Outlook at this point. I am not very good with tech stuff, so have no idea why inbound would be working and not outbound. However, the goal is to verify Twitter, so let's work on that first :)

I am more concerned about my email than confirming Twitter... that's just (like you said) a frustrating side effect of my inability to get Atmail to work with my domain... Do you think perhaps that it may have something to do with the fact that i bought the domain from namecheap.com and it is a NEW .XYZ domain? I have 25 years of experience in this field and this is the first I've heard of a mail server that successfully tests to incoming mail, but fails each time when sending a test message telling me the "server responded, but I receive (error#550) relay not permitted". I have never ran into this before. It just seems that the email handshaking between the 2 mail servers is breaking down. And yes.... I am copying the password as is. I am receiving the same error through Outlook, so it's not the mail client, it's seemingly the mail server.

I have heard that some people have issues sending and receiving email from the same IP, but I have never experienced this issue.

Could there be some kind of issue with the domain settings at the registrar? I can't remember what it's called, but when I set up a domain (using another host) I had to change some settings there so that my email was properly forwarded to the right place. Sorry - for as much as I know about affiliate marketing I"m still a dummy in the technical realm.

I would wait to see what tech support says or try to catch Kyle in chat or send him a PM.

I don't think the xyz domain would make a difference.

Thx for your help. Kyle, wasn't sure and asked me to open a ticket. There's been no response yet though. Don't know their turn-around time. No worries as far as being tech savvy. I'm savvy and I can't seem to figure this issue! LOL
